Everything was spectacular—we love Florence but staying downtown can be hectic and overpriced. The villa is beautifully updated while preserving its history, in the middle of a lovely countryside—yet only steps from the comfortable and convenient tram to anywhere in the city. Staff and family were incredibly kind and helpful with information and accommodation. We will return!

Location was very nice, 5-10 minutes from train station which drives direct to city center and not only close to transportation, location is nice because villa is not close to some noisy street and have beautiful big garden. Breakfast was really delicious and eggs are freshly baked when you arrive on breakfast. Host is really friendly and nice! I would definitely recommend this accommodation and will stay again there if I visit Florence again!

This was our final stop on a 3 week trip. It's a bit outside of the bustle of the city center on a hillside, which we wanted for our final night. Really cool property....an old palace and grounds that are now managed by a descendent of the original aristocrats from the 1600s. Staff was super friendly, breakfast was good and bed was very comfy. I would stay here again.
Nothing negative. It doesn't really have food in a walkable distance that we saw, but we picked up from a local restaurant a short drive away that the owner suggested. Very yummy.

We appreciated the owner's communication and his ordering an early morning ride to the airport.
We left at 6:00 a.m. so were not able to have the breakfast.

Beautiful location, just outside Florence, but still city center remained accessible in 20 mins due to the very close T1 stop.
Large and clean room, very good breakfast, wonderful hosts. The garden was not really usable at the end of a cold and wet December, but it looked very, very nice. We would come again any time.
Heating unit was a little bit noisy (heat pumps are used at the property, as far as I could get), but nothing really serious.

We really liked the location and that it was on seven Hector acres of property. Very private and a five minute easy walk to the tram that tacks you directly into Firenza center.

The property is genuinely classic Italian. It's noble and grande. Felt I had an authentic Italian experience. Bit out of the way but easy access to Florence city center with the tram in 15 minutes. Roberto and Francesca were very eager to please and helpful on every need. Breakfast was hearty in a perfect setting in a high ceiling home. This place is a keeper!
The entrance to the property for our rental car has a steel gated fence. There is a combination that you need from the host beforehand which we did not have.

Location was comfortable and enjoyable as we could be away from the city. Tram was close and came often so connecting to city was a breeze! Facilities were ideal and the hosts were accommodating and friendly! A great place to relax after a day in Florence among the hoards of people!!!

Everything was great, location, room, breakfast.
Perfect location if you are looking for a quiet place away from the crowds as you will be staying in a historic villa set in a beautiful garden.
A great choice also for those travelling by car as there is free parking.
If you are looking for a more urban atmosphere you might want to consider a different choice.
However, you can easily reach the city center by tram in 20-30min.
Roberto and his wife are very kind and friendly and you will feel at home at their villa. Definitely recommended
The tram line to the city center is only a 10 minute walk away, but the road is a bit narrow and has several curves, so you have to watch out for cars, even though it is not very busy.
