The room was clean. Had all the necessary amenities that we required. The apartment was walking distance to all restaurants and tourist attractions. This helps with getting around without requiring a taxi Uber. Lorenzo was the best! Assisted with questions we had. Smooth check in and check out.

Wonderful
Very central location close to famous sites and a selection of great restaurants, genuine frescoes on the walls, lovely ambience. Very friendly and helpful owner.
The impossibly small claustrophobic lift, although, it was certainly better than walking up three floors. Not a fault of the apartment itself but of the old building - the stairwell had a very bad odour

Very Good
Lovely location, central to everything. Great hosts , very helpful and a lovely bottle of wine on check in which was a nice touch. Very small lift up to the 3rd floor but once used was fine.
Apartment was very authentic but would prefer duvets rather than a bedspread. Also, could be a little bit cleaner, loo brush was very dirty and needs throwing away, floor was dusty. Smell on the corridor as entering the building was quite strong, not the fault of the owners.

The location couldnt have been better, right in the heart of Florence, we actually had a view of the Duomo , amazing.
Lorenzo was the perfect host , nothing was too much trouble. Stored our luggage for the day , turned on the heating , gave excellent restaurant recommendations, prompt communication, overall I really couldnt fault the place .

Wonderful
Very nice apartment, very practical and well located. We were provided all the necessary amenities and both of the Lorenzos were very helpful, nice and gave very good tips - we basically only went to their recommended restaurants and we don't regret it.
Like some people mentioned, the building's entrance has a very pungent smell. Nothing the host can do about it, but be warned if you're sensitive to smells. The floor in the apartment was a bit dirty and dusty, but nothing too bad.

The age of the apartment and the ceiling decoration. Also the comfortable bed.
Unfortunately it was noisy at night from the street below which affected sleep.

The location was excellent providing easy walking access to most places of interest, as well as from the train station. It was fun having old fresco remains tied to the history of the building. Even though it was the smallest elevator weve ever encountered, it worked well and was great to have available after days exploring on foot. Kitchen supplies were adequate.
The sofa was an interesting piece of furniture but very awkward to sit on, and the bed wasnt the most comfortable either.

Fair
Location, iron, washing machine
Cute Italian vibes and decoration
Bathroom felt old and shower space was super small - couldn't even wash my hair without banging my head on the door
Didn't like how the quits had no quilt cover - made me question if they get washed given how big they are
Bed was hard and had lumps
Radiator did not work and hardly produced any heat. Was so super cold+++ at night. Should get a new heater. The heater on the air conditioner unit did not work. We had to contact the owner where they told us there was a gas heater in the cupboard

You couldn't find a better location from which to experience Florence. The apartment is full of character, it's very comfortable and spotlessly clean and has an AMAZING view of the Duomo and tower.

Wonderful
The apartment couldn't have been in a more useful location! So close to the cathedral and some great cafes and restaurants. Lorenzo and Lorenzo were both super helpful, friendly and accommodating - they even gave us a load of local recommendations and some bottles of chianti. The apartments themselves were also wonderful, and I'd say even more impressive than the pictures made them look. We rented two apartments for a group of 5, and the setup here was great, with a connecting hallway between them.
The apartment facing the street got a lot of noise from outside at night. Understandable in a city - but be wary if that bothers you. Also, there was a lift, which was useful for 3 members of our group, but it's incredibly small and narrow, so they had to get in it one at a time (not the apartment owners' fault, obviously, but another thing to be conscious of when booking).

Quite exceptional accommodation. Lorenzo's kindness, the way he welcomed us, is captivating. Lorenzo gave us all the useful information and even more. Lorenzo's kindness was the first "picture" with which Florence, this wonderful city, welcomed us. Thank you again and again. I highly recommend Lorenzo's accommodation. Exceptionally beautiful accommodation, equipped with everything, excellent reception by the host.
Nothing.

We love the charm, close to the duomo, walking distance to train station, Ponte Vecchio and a lot more. Restaurants are nearby, and Carrefour Express. There is a small lift which was a relief. The toilet is very modern and nice. There is a Smart TV.
Wished we had stayed longer. Definitely recommend.
Nothing.

Fantastic apartment in the most central location while being quiet and peaceful. The decor is lovely, particularly with the historic painted frescos, it felt like staying frozen in time. The lift was handy, and amenities in the apartment were all good and as described. You could stay for a short or long stay here, it has everything you need. Lorenzo and his colleague were great hosts, and were flexible and helpful at check in and check out. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Just book it.
Can't think of anything, no issues.
