Wonderful location in a historic building centrally located to all the main sites, yet not in the busiest hustle bustle areas (which is a good thing). The room had wonderful old frescos on the ceiling and walls, and a large window that opened to a beautiful view of the dome on the Duomo as well as local residences and trattorias— making for a lovely place to sit and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the sights, smells and sounds of an amazing city. The hosts were very kind and helpful as well.

This was a beautiful and unique historic property in the center of old Florence. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Our host was great at being in contact with us, and he welcomed us in person as soon as we arrived. He even had a bottle of wine waiting!
The apartment feels like you are living in a traditional Italian home. It is quiet, spacious, and clean, with a charming view, good big bed, air-conditioning, hair dryer, coffee maker, extra pillows, etc. The shower is good too. What’s more, it is in an unbeatable location for tourists while being utterly peaceful. Five stars.
We rented the two bedroom apartment. People should know that the second bedroom has only a single bed, so I don’t think it would work for two couples.
What’s more, there is a big dining table with chairs, but no sofa or lounge area for people to hang out. Again, we knew what to expect so this wasn’t a problem. It’s just a good thing to know.

Lobby needs to be cleaned up and could use a serious coat of fresh paint. The front door to the street needs to be cleaned, re stained w nice brass plate at bottom to give a better impression to the public.

Lorenzo was an exceptional host! The apartment was both comfortable and stylish, with stunning frescoes and a truly authentic Italian vibe. As someone who appreciates interior design, this stay was an absolute highlight for me. Lorenzo welcomed us warmly, explained everything with enthusiasm, and shared fantastic local recommendations. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the Duomo and close to a lively area perfect for those who enjoy nightlife. We hope to return to Firenze soon and will definitely stay at Apartment Oriuolo again!
The common area (building hall and entrance) felt outdated and had a weird smell, but the apartment itself was spotless and odor-free!

Fantastic apartment right in the middle of the old town - max 10 minutes walk to more or less everything! Super friendly host met us and showed us all the facilities. Everything worked like a dream from arrival to departure. Couldn´t have wished for more actually!

We spent four nights in Appartamenti Oriuolo and absolutely loved it. It is in such a wonderful location and walking distance from the Duomo. The apartment was cozy and had everything we needed. It made for a very memorable and comfortable stay for our time in Florence. Our host's Lorenzo & Lorenzo were also very welcoming, communicative, and friendly. Although this wasn't an issue for us, be advised if you are a light sleeper there are nearby restaurants and bars which you will sometimes hear sounds from at night.

Centrally located, spacious with very friendly and helpful hosts.
We did not mind but be prepared and physically able to climb a lot of stairs if you dont want to use the tiny lift.
