This accommodation is a kind of an appartement hotel - they don't provide a regular morning meal. They have a coffee machine and a number of packed cookies (to have with the coffee). Breakfast is not a problem in the area for there are a number of nice coffee shops with a good selection of pastries to offer. Coffee obviously is excellent (you are in Italy after all).
The location is pretty central - about 8min walk to Piazza San Marco and some 15-20 to Piazza del Duomo.
The hosts Alessia & Daniele were extremely nice and helpful.
Our room was smaller than we expected (it was our 3rd time stay in this place). However there was a large and convenient guest lounge with coffee, cakes and some drinks (including alcoholic) upstairs. Though the steps were rather steep and not easy to climb for aged people. But still manageable.

Wonderful
Owners super-friendly and helpful, Daniele gave us a lot of useful info. The place is nice, cozy and super-clean. Location is great, 10 minutes walk by city center, in a not crowded area but full of good restaurants and coffee-shops.

This is a great place to stay in Florence. The rooms are very clean and cosy, boutique-hotel style. We never got the chance to meet the owners, but they were super friendly, helpful and responsible by phone and messages. They helped us several times during our stay. They are not on site most of the time, but their outstanding reactivity largely compensates. It also means there is no breakfast on site, but there are free candies, tea, snacks to help you wait until you discover one of the great places to have breakfast in the neighbourhood.

My stay at Antica Dimora Firenze was so enjoyable! I felt right at home when I was welcomed so graciously by Daniele, who helped me with my luggage and spent extra time with me acquainting me with the setting and giving me excellent recommendations for cafes, food, and more in Florence. The space is beautifully decorated and is a peaceful and relaxing place to return to after exploring this amazing city. I will be back!

Brilliant hosts who were really helpful with our late check-in and providing helpful tips for our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Really comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. Access to croissants, cake and coffee in the common area was a huge bonus!

This was the best stay we have had in Florence. The location was perfect, just outside of the extremely touristy area but also walkable to everything and very quiet. Getting a local's recommendations was what we all dream of when we travel to a new city. Daniele spent time when we arrived to recommend restaurants and cafes, we tried everything he recommended and ate some of the best meals we have had in Italy!

Very good location, comfy bed, attentive host.
Room photos were misleading - we saw nice windows, stylish bathtub and cute balcony on the photos but we got a room with tiny window, no bathtub and no balcony.

Beautiful guest house in great spot just outside the overwhelming city centre. Host is so friendly and has wonderful tips on authentic restaurants and experiences if you want to escape the tourist traps

The amazing care and attention given by Daniele the host. He welcomed us so warmly and gave us lots of hints about where and where not to visit in Florence. This personal touch was so lovely in such a busy city. The lounge area was well stocked with fridge cold drinks, snacks coffee pods etc and comfy seating.
The room was a good size and beds super comfy. There was plenty of storage. Bathroom had a great shower, toiletries and strong hairdryer.
Having Daniele available via WhatsApp if you needed anything was very reassuring especially when we got caught up in the rail strike.
I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence.
