This accommodation is a kind of an appartement hotel - they don't provide a regular morning meal. They have a coffee machine and a number of packed cookies (to have with the coffee). Breakfast is not a problem in the area for there are a number of nice coffee shops with a good selection of pastries to offer. Coffee obviously is excellent (you are in Italy after all).
The location is pretty central - about 8min walk to Piazza San Marco and some 15-20 to Piazza del Duomo.
The hosts Alessia & Daniele were extremely nice and helpful.
Our room was smaller than we expected (it was our 3rd time stay in this place). However there was a large and convenient guest lounge with coffee, cakes and some drinks (including alcoholic) upstairs. Though the steps were rather steep and not easy to climb for aged people. But still manageable.

Antica Dimora Firenze was an excellent hotel that I would recommend to anyone! The room was truly gorgeous, and the hosts were extremely responsive. The location is very close to city center, while also being a little removed from the crowds. Best of both worlds. Highly recommend staying here.

My stay at Antica Dimora Firenze was so enjoyable! I felt right at home when I was welcomed so graciously by Daniele, who helped me with my luggage and spent extra time with me acquainting me with the setting and giving me excellent recommendations for cafes, food, and more in Florence. The space is beautifully decorated and is a peaceful and relaxing place to return to after exploring this amazing city. I will be back!

This was the best stay we have had in Florence. The location was perfect, just outside of the extremely touristy area but also walkable to everything and very quiet. Getting a local's recommendations was what we all dream of when we travel to a new city. Daniele spent time when we arrived to recommend restaurants and cafes, we tried everything he recommended and ate some of the best meals we have had in Italy!

Guest house conveniently located and very quiet; comfortable clean room with a cosy décor and full of character. Daniele and Alessia were friendly welcoming hosts. Upon arrival Alessia gave us a map providing useful and detailed information about places of particular interest to us and also places to eat depending on location and time of day. Generous supply of snacks, water and other drinks. Hope to come back.

It's a really cute apartment and the room was very spacious and the snacks and rooftop were incredible. However since it's an old building, the walls are quite thin so it's rather easy to hear the neighbors and the other guests. Get noise cancelling earbuds if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, I can't recommend this place enough especially the Johlea apartment where I got to stay.

What a lovely place . It has loads of character and was very comfortable. The additional pastries / drinks etc was a nice touch . The owner was fantastic providing great information about the area .

The host made sure we had a great time in Florence, they told us a lot about the city and what we should visit, they helped us out with taxis, train tickets, they booked a table for us at a restaurant for new years eve, the facilities were great, great location, overall I couldn't recommend more.
