We really enjoyed this little place. The room had plenty of space for my family of 4, and the breakfast was delightful.... OMG the pastries.
In terms of location, we only walked to every place we wanted to visit.
Nothing, we all enjoyed our stay there.

Shower with a window in it that would not stay closed it had to be taped shut The shower for did not close fully so that the water would come out on the floor The lighting was poor My wife couldn’t wash her face in the sink properly because the mirror frame stuck Out from the wall too far There were steps to the bathroom that in the dark getting out of bed was very dangerous We paid the same price per night as people that we were traveling with and their room was 100 times better

The property is not a hotel; it is a bed and breakfast that is advertised as a small boutique hotel on Booking.com, which is misleading. Check-in takes place at the hotel located across the street, after which guests must go to the B&B, situated in the building opposite, on an upper floor. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and guests are charged if towels or bed linens are changed before the scheduled date. Breakfast is very limited and served at a large communal table with other guests in the main room. Only small frozen croissants are offered with eggs , cereals , biscuits , available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the breakfast overall is very poor and looks small.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

This is a super cute Hotel which is managed by lovely people. The highlight is the location. So close to many great sightseeing spots in the city. Special thanks to Silvia for advices and talks.

This small boutique hotel strikes the perfect balance between the charm of an Airbnb and the convenience of a well-run hotel, without any of the usual Airbnb hassles like cleaning duties or waiting around for someone to let you in. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. A special shoutout to Sylvia, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She even allowed us to check in early, which made our arrival so much smoother.
The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a stylish, cozy atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, much larger than what you'd typically expect in central Florence. Breakfast was great, served around a large communal table that encourages a nice sense of community among guests. For those who prefer more privacy, there are also a couple of smaller, private tables on the side.
The location is about a 20-minute walk from the old town, which we actually appreciated as it offered a quieter, more local feel while still being close enough to all the main attractions.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located on the first floor of a traditional building and does not have a lift. If you're traveling with heavy luggage, it's something to be aware of but for us, it wasn’t a big deal.
