The location if the hotel is convenient to everything you want to do and see in Florence.
The hotel us definitely starting to show its age snd everything seems somewhat dusty. The mattress was worn flat, the pillows were horrible pladtic bricks and the toiletries were generic motel quality. Additionally, breakfast seemed amatuerish and underwhelming. The woman who heads up the breakfast was unpleasant and the concierge was never there.

We stayed in the loft. The loft was really cute and a great size. There was a little kitchen and eating area. The main bedroom was up stairs and was huge! The bathroom was pretty and clean. There was another bedroom that had two sleeping areas which was perfect for two kids. The whole place was very clean. The staff were very helpful and alone does umbrellas on a rainy day. It was hot in Florence but the air-conditioning in the hotel was great. It was in a good location where we could walk to most sites. I highly recommend the loft at this hotel. It was really pretty and we felt like we were staying in a palace.

It was heartbreakingly beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. Location was perfect and bed supremely comfortable.
It was minor but had a big impact. The lack of any proactive communication from the reception staff about the roadworks which materially impacted getting to and from the hotel and car park was v disappointing. A message to all prospective guests explaining what was going on and giving alternative sat nav guidance would have made a material difference. Also the garage facilities let the hotel down by being shut when it should have been open and despite giving the required notice when picking up it wasn't there when I got back. This may have seemed less of an issue if I hadn't already driven around in circles for an hr trying to get to the garage in the first place due to the road works. Communications is everything.
