Le Macine is a wonderful place in the countryside near Florence... within 5 minutes walk from the city! The place is nice and clean, and the owners were exceptionally efficient and friendly. 5 stars + 1 to the breakfast, homemade products served near the fireplace. Wonderful.

We were welcomed by the host with great advice about Florence. The place was spacious and comfortable. We were given a history lesson by the host who was very knowledgeable about the museums and the churches of Florence.

I enjoyed staying at this rustic farm stay. Open, relaxing location tucked away from busyness of the city. Lovely flowers and plants. It is within the Bird scooter zone, so it was great and easy to scooter to the historic city centre. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Washroom and shower are quite small but functional. Old house smell, didn’t mind the nostalgia but could be disruptive for some.

The hosts were very friendly, breakfast was amazing with products produced locally on their farm. The location was good, far from the center of Florence and the crowds and noises.
The facilities could be maintained a little bit better, there is a funny smell coming from one of the fish tanks in the yard. Apart from that everything was great.

This was more of a farm stay experience than a typical hotel. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Private parking is available, and the nearby bus stop makes it easy to reach the city center. Good breakfast with the host family.

Breakfast with the family is a great start to the day. Location is helpful for the bus (buy tickets on the bus company App - you can buy for a whole family) and free parking on site. Useful to have a kitchenette

Truly they are trying their best regarding hosting , information and hospitality.Very friendly people and great information about activities and the city. We had a great time during breakfast , truly homemade ,but you need to catch up the rest of the guest.
Please renovate your rooms. Refurbish is needed because of the humidity. Please fix your toilet basinet, and your plumbing.Smells are an issue.I wish for you to evolve and to visit you again.Sorry i couldn't rate you more.These are issues that can't be excused.

The property is 4 kilometres from Florence. It’s a very rustic old farm house. The hosts are amazing !! Breakfast was in their kitchen. Sat around a big kitchen table with the family. We loved it. There is a lovely walk by the river into Florence which we walked. Takes about 50 minutes. Bikes can be hired in Florence and there are plenty of cycling trails. Buses were our preferred transport into Florence. We downloaded the Tabnet app on our smartphone. Brilliant. We caught the number 23 that picks up near the petrol station. Last bus 11.30pm. We had a fantastic time here. Parking was safe too. We would definitely come back!!
