Breakfast as in a 4 star hotel, choice of many kinds of dishes and side dishes.
The owners, and all the staff were very friendly, smiling and nice. We also talked in Slovak :)
The girls explained us all the details about the boat trips and the climb to the top of Monte Baldo.
If I have to travel around again, Villa Katy will be the first booking item I check for availability!

You are met with a warm welcome by either Sylvia or Sonia who put you at ease and make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Villa Katy is conveniently placed just off the main road that goes around the lake, and about a 15-20 minute walk to Bardolino and Lazise. It was also a short walk to the bus stop and ferry where you can explore towns further up the lake or get a bus directly to Verona. We found it straight forward to explore many nearby towns from here by foot, bus and ferry.
The hotel itself is kept immaculately and the hotel managers are always available to answer any queries you may have or to advise you on where to go/how to get there. There is also a very convenient car park under the hotel if you have a car.
The view from the top terrace is stunning (this is where the breakfast room is) and the pool gets plenty of sunshine all day long.
We loved the fact that the drinks and snacks from the bar were reasonably priced so take advantage (€6 for an aperol). There are also a few bars and restaurants just over the main road. The other advantage to being in Cisarno was that it was much quieter than the main towns like Bardolino which remained very busy even at 10pm.
All in all, the Villa Katy offered the right balance of quiet and relaxation without being too far away from the popular towns.

Small friendly B&B hotel. Close to Lake Garda. Fabulous breakfast. Spotlessly clean bedding and towels. Fresh decor in room. Only a dozen rooms so no more than 24 guests if full.
Small pool area close to other guests. But other than that nothing else.

The room was lovely, perfect size, great shower and nice view. Loved the upstairs terrace which had excellent views. The location was perfect as right next to Cisano and short pleasant walk to Bardolino along the lake. And then there is the the staff, Sonia & Silvia were absolutely amazing, they could not do more to help. They were both so welcoming and friendly, they helped us finding anything we needed.

Excellent hosts, very friendly, approachable and hospitable, provided guidance on places to visit too.
Not so much dislike, but a washbasin in the bedroom was a little odd, perhaps an Italian thing? It wasn't really a deal breaker for me.

The staff at the Hotel were exceptional, did everything possible to make our stay perfect. From booking restaurant tables, recommendations, information on the area, early breakfast on our last morning, and just being wonderful warm and inviting people.
PS…..the breakfast was amazing, along with its location on the roof top!

When we came to Villa Katy, we had a very warm welcome. Family deluxe room was so clean, bathroom had a big shower.We enjoyed our drink from mini bar and we sat outside by swimming pool. They also have a big terrace, you can sit and enjoy a lovely view on Lake Garda.Breakfast was excellent. Great choice of everything. Location is great, you just cross the street and you are at the Lake.We had lovely walk to the centre of Bardolino. The owners of Villa Katy ( twin sisters) are more than welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.We will be definitely back. Highly recommended.

The bars and restaurants were all closed by midnight..but the truth is your so tired from. The travelling around all day your exhausted by that time

Fantastic base for staying on Lake Garda - hotel only 50 metres from the waters edge and well located for trips around the lake, Verona and train (with a short bus ride) to Milan. Sonia and Silvia (twin sister owners) run this small family hotel (only 16 rooms). They couldn't be more helpful, full of useful info and accommodate every need. A great stay for couples or family. They even offer bike hire from their own stock of bikes without additional charge - these are often available at minimal notice. Hotel has added benefit of a pool which was kept very clean and much needed given the summer heat! Rooms are air-conditioned with a balcony / pool view - again so refreshing in the heat outside and benefit from a fridge to store your own drinks etc. Buffet breakfast available on the terrace with a lovely view of the lake. Short stroll or bike ride into Bardalino centre (the bus stop you want for this hotel is Cisano which offers its own choice of restaurants etc).
Whilst all staff were very welcoming, special thanks to Sonia. Absolutely amazing friendly customer service (even facilitating our request to watch the ladies football World Cup Final on the tv in the bar, together with great local knowledge and offers or assistance on travel tips). If only every hotel has a 'Sonia'!! Would recommend this place over and above so many other hotels - don't let the 3 stars rating make you think its not up to a great standard.

we had an amazing stay in Villa Katy. It honestly blew me away - The pool, the rooms and the exceptional service from Silvia & Sonia. we had a wedding in Bardolino so we only stayed for 3 nights but we will 100% be back!! It is a special place
