Very Good
The hosts and everyone at Corte Frisonai were really lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Everyone was really friendly. The location was in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and swimming pool and our balcony had a great view of the lake The breakfast was very good with lots of choice each day and freshly cooked eggs (of our choice) each morning. We had coffee made for us as well which was lovely. The bed was very comfy
and the bathroom was very clean and the shower cubicle was a really good size. The air con was very quiet which was a bonus.
Bardolino was a lovely town and had lots of restaurants and bars to choose from as well as all the usual tourist shops and was a great base to visit the other towns around Lake Garda by ferry or bus.
We didn’t really have anything negative to say. Whilst the location was lovely and so peaceful as we didn’t have a hire car my husband and I walked up and down to the town each day (as there were no buses) and it took almost 30 minutes each way and it was mainly up quite a steep incline on the return. We didn’t mind getting our steps in but it may be an issue for some. The only other thing that we really missed was having no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room and being British we did miss our tea but on one rainy morning when we stayed at the hotel for a while we were able to bring a pot of tea to our room which the lovely lady who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms gave us (we didn’t know her name but she was so helpful to us) which was lovely.

The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful beyond the normal b&b-expectations. The breakfast was prepared with love and included a broad variety of things to choose. We were extremly happy!

Very friendly couple with a comfortable B&B, good room size, smart bathroom. Nice breakfast and quiet at night!
Just be aware it is a little bit outside of Bardolino, up a steep hill, if you are on bicycles (like us!).
