Breakfast was very good. you have not a huge selection of food, but really finest quality. I loved the freshly made juice counter with a selection of fruits and vegetables. fine room service, for dinner you have to reserve a table. the inside and outside pools are perfect. it was really nice vacation experience.

The rooms were very clean and spacious.
The pool area was fantastic, again kept in very good condition and the pool was heated to a lovely temperature. The lazy river and jets in the pool were fantastic.
Breakfast was excellent. Especially enjoyed getting omelettes made every morning. Definitely the best breakfast I have experienced in any hotel.

Excellent facilities and super relaxing environment. Very clean and staff helpful. Very good breakfast with lots of choice for all. Rooms were spacious.

The property has great facilities, especially during the summer months when you might want your spend some time in the swimming pool (indoor or out). It’s located not too far from the lake but I did think you’d have views of the lake from the property but you don’t.
Main pros.
- It has underground parking which is very handy.
- Room cleaned well everyday
- Facilities
- Breakfast spread, catering for vegetarians well
- Reception check in staff were very helpful
- Welcome drink on arrival and (I think) Prosecco at breakfast
Overall, I’d say the pros most probably outweigh the cons but for value for money, this place is on the expensive side and fixing the cons (which I do think can mostly be fixed easily) would’ve made it much more worth it for our personal experience.
Main cons:
- Gym is extremely warm (July) and needs better AC/fans
- Gym opening times - we booked this hotel so that we could still visit the gym, to find out it only opens at 9am. Changing the opening time to 7 would make a huge difference. People want to go out for the day and not wait until after 10 when they’re done training.
- Towels: you cannot collect them at the pool, you have to go to the gym/spa which again, is an inconvenience that could be fixed
- Iron: you can’t use one in your room and obviously when people travel, their clothing is creased. We’re grown adults, this rule is absurd.
- Staff at the pool bar were rude, they said if we order food we have to take it to our hotel room… why?
Ultimately, most of the cons are not huge cons and we enjoyed our trip. A lot of them could be tweaked and avoided which I think would make a significant impact on the experiences guests have, and I think they’re changes worth making.

Actually Aqualux is my Choice for an Hotel in bardolino. This time round I got everything I did not request. A double round bed instead of twin beds, an interleading door to another room and to crown it all a room over the dustbins which were emptied at 3:52 am and again at 6:15 am.
