Lovely owners, helpful and friendly. Beware this is not a normal hotel so you have to make allowances for the type of property where you are staying. Very good breakfast. Dinner also good but somewhat haphazard in that you have to give notice and beware that the establishment is used by specialist tour groups which rather dominate the dining area.
My room was in annex (which I was aware) but some distance over rather unprepossessing path. No balcony as promised but the room itself was quite adequate and clean and comfortable.

The family including their son, were just wonderful! The cooking class was great. All the food is fresh!!
Its a little tough to smell manure so nearby. And a neighbor was burning brush so it was really smoky at night while the fire was smoldering. Not at all the fault of this location but made for a very tough situation with asthma and there was no AC so we couldnt close the windows and be comfortable.

The owners and their kids are just fantastic - super polite and helpful. They welcomed me with a glass of delicious Prosecco. I got sore throat when being there and they right away made me a lemon honey water to treat it
One evening I took a wrong bus that stopped 4km away from the hotel and I had to walk that distance, and when I arrived to the hotel they told me: why did not you call? I would come to you by car and take you
Having no wi-fi and poor mobile signal in the room was a bit disappointing, but I still enjoyed my stay there a lot

The location is really nice, 5 minutes walk for a great amalfi coast view. The food is delicious, we got the best pasta, chicken and ravioli in Italy at this place.. also olive oil was the best, too bad didnt ask about it while we stayed, would have bought it for home you can rent a scooter 400meters away, 55eur/ 1 day.

the food, the peace & quiet and the staff were so down to earth. there is a really nice homely vibe here and a lot of the ingredients come from their farm.
the rooms were a bit hot at night sometimes, we would have liked if there was an option to have a fan in the room.

Wonderful
If you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the other tourists and crowds, this is the place. Located on top of the mountains of the Amalfi coast where it is a bit cooler and quieter, this place is it. It has a restaurant where Valentino and his colleagues cook lovely homemade food and they also teach guests how to make and cook real Italian pasta and pizza. Located a quick walk down to the village where you can mingle with the locals in the coffee shop or restaurant and take in the amazing views over the Amalfi or catch a bus down into Amalfi town without the hassle of looking for parking, it is a must for at least two nights. From here you can do all the hiking you like.

The place is beautiful and the rooms were so accommodating. The owners are a lovely family that made us feel so welcome and helped with everything and went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was magical. We fell I love with the place and with the people. We hadnt planned on staying more than a night and ended up staying 3 nights. We highly recommend staying there and we will definitely come back!
