Great property! Super clean and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. Only thing is that shower wouldn’t go warm, but I’m not sure if that’s the shower itself or user error. Overall, would definitely come back and the location is amazing! Right on the ring road in the way to vik.

Close to Vik. Comfortable rooms. Sheep both behind and in front of the place. I woke up to them bah-ing- so cute!
Was able to save some money on food since there is a kitchen, we went grocery shopping
I wish we had an opportunity to meet the owners. It would have been more personal.

I like the kitchen facilities and that there were outdoor tables with a view of Reynsfjara.
We weren't to use the kitchen before 7 am but we needed to leave by 6:30 to get to Reykjavik on time. There is nothing around otherwise.

This was the perfect stop after a long day of sightseeing. The location was near the black sand beach and just a few minutes outside of Vik. We stayed in a triple room which was large, comfortable and clean. The 2 shared bathrooms are shared between 4 rooms, so had no issue. There is also a sink and mirror inside the bedroom. There was also a full kitchen where you could keep your food in the fridge (since we were driving town to town). We did not cook, but other guests did. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and quiet. We would stay again.
This accommodation was great, no complaints.

The place is a 9 min drive from Vik. The shared bathroom issue is no big deal since it’s one step away from the room. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The view from the room is spectacular. Nice place when you what you’re getting.
The shower pressure was pretty weak and it took a while to get hot water

Clean guesthouse with enough cooking facilities and unlimited coffee, tea and biscuits
It’s noisy, if you have other people staying who stay up late, then you might have some trouble sleeping since you can hear everything from everyone around you.
We booked a family room with a balcony and sea view, in reality such a room does not exist as the owners live on the second floor and you don’t have access to it. We had a small, high window instead, that you can only look through while standing up.

Simple self check-in. In the shared kitchen, we found tea, coffee, cookies, and basic spices. It was warm inside. Peaceful and well-located. You can buy an Icelandic wool sweater here at a reasonable price.
The furnishings are basic and simple, and they feel a bit dated. The water pressure in the shower is very low. We couldn’t find any proper knives in the kitchen – there was nothing to cut bread or cheese with (only table knives).

Nice apartment on our way through Iceland. BUT what was exceptional: we forgot shoes of our little one there and the host was so incredibly kind to bring it to one of our stays in Iceland. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! When travelling to Iceland again, we will definitely come to your place again
