While the rooms were small, they were super clean and nice and modern. It was also possible to open the window a crack, a big bonus if you love some fresh air at night! It was quiet enough to do so, except one morning when the trash was collected. I also really liked the nod to the environment. Upon checking in I was able to state my preference for maid service. You can check the days you want the room cleaned, and when I had it cleaned the maid left the towels i wanted to keep. Oftentimes I find that towels are collected no matter if you hang them
Up to keep or not, and nobody needs a fresh towel that often. I really enjoyed the breakfast. The buffet wasn’t huge, but there was something for everyone, and even some typical Icelandic foods. The staff went out of their way to store my medication in their refrigerator, which was massively appreciated. It was no more than a 5 minute walk to the Main Street, a perfect location. I’d definitely stay here again!
Sometimes in the morning the bathroom strongly smelled like urine.

Location was excellent easy walk to restaurants, attractions, the harbor. Very helpful and friendly front staff. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful views on the 5th floor room.

Great location, walkable, airport shuttle stops just across the street. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nicely appointed and best of all the beds were amazing.
We where given a packed breakfast when we told them we had an early departure, again….the staff were super nice.
The shower is open to rest of the bathroom ( it’s a wetroom) but the floors dried quickly so not too bad.

Staff was very polite professional breakfast was delicious.. Hotel was pretty much centrally located. I loved the live Webcam of icelands volcano ?
I thought the chairs in the room we're not that supportive. I'd like a better chair in my room.

Very comfortable!! The parking spaces are great, although very limited. The staff kindly gave us breakfast boxes, since we were catching the road very early. Definitely recommended!

I booked 2 rooms for 4 adults with breakfast included. When we arrived, the staff said there is only 1 adult in each room so we have to pay 1 extra breakfast for each room. I booked this hotel the same way I booked the rest 8 hotels in Iceland and none of them asked us to pay for extra breakfast.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful
The hotel is VERY clean
The breakfast was FRESH with so many choices: fruit, vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, eggs, pancakes, juices, coffee, teas….pastries
Can’t honestly think of a thing
Would absolutely stay there again
It was a two minute walk to shopping ( mostly souvenirs at this end- shopping street is quite long)
We were able to actually use bus to get to Perlan
The transportation from Blue Lagoon literally dropped us off at our hotel. Viator excursions picked us up and returned us to our hotel

Limited in parking but city lots near by with free parking between 6pm to 8am.

Pleasant
Breakfast was good. Water and complimentary croissants available in lobby. They accommodated our luggage before room was ready. The staff called a taxi for us. Location conveniently close to downtown and shopping, walking distance.
Our room was small and didn't have a thermostat to adjust the temperature. No wash rags in the bathroom. No safety deposit box in the room.

Very comfortable hotel with nice rooms and meal.
The parking situation is not good. Maybe 10 spots total available. After that, you're in paid parking around the block.
