it is very close to the town and city, only walk 5-10 mins you can arrive to town and some Attractions, breakfast is nice and stuff were very nice too, room is very good for rest and very quiet even on the side of the road, have freee parking is great.

This is my second time staying at Skuggi and it was absolutely wonderful both times!
It would be really amazing however to have a small fridge in the rooms to keep leftovers and food fresh.

The hotel is in a little quieter area than the old harbor area, yet very walkable to everything. Breakfast was very good and staff did a great job keeping all the choices well stocked. The hotel is a little generic feeling but we slept well and were pleased with the location.

Hotel is close to the city center and at the same time has parking in the building, which was very convenient.
I was also impressed with breakfast. So many options offered for lactose intolerants and also healthy options, such as Chia Pudding with almond and oat milk, oat milk.

This hotel is in a great location near the water, room was very clean. Beds were so comfortable and the staff especially house keeping were exceptional and friendly. Price was great and a good size breakfast was included. Parking garage was a bonus.
Only thing missing was a mini fridge but we were only staying a night so we didn’t need one.

Great location for visiting some of the downtown "tourist" attractions we were interested in (could walk to the Hallgrimskirkja church; Rainbow Street; Settlement Exhibit; Laugavegur Street); also close to lots of restaurants (recommend Harry's Grill); wonderful, extensive breakfast selection; FREE garage parking; beds were comfortable.
Whoever selected those wooden counters for the bathroom made a big mistake. The paint was pealing and the wood was warping. Room and bathroom on the small side; bathroom lighting bad for shaving, and mirror not tall enough; need more towels hooks or bars.
