The code was sent to me well in advance via email.
My electronic correspondence with the property managers felt a bit adversarial - they hadn’t seen the question I had sent in the reservation and came off as very unaccommodating. The price was also quite high but everything in Reykjavik is quite expensive these days.

Wonderful
Excellent location. Easy walking to all downtown spots and the view off the balcony allowed for more than one night of northern lights viewing. Great space to share with a group of friends.
The electronic door into the building was a bit inconsistent. Required help a couple of times for the keypad not accepting the code, but the staff was quick to help via phone.

When we used the oven the power in the whole apartment went off and we had to follow the instructions for resetting the breakers. Did it twice to use when using the fan in the oven, without using the fan part worked just fine! All else was great!

Fish restaurant next door propped open a door to our stair well and the whole apartment bldg smelled like fish ... I struggled with exterior door key pad.

Reykjavik4you apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for our party of 3. Checkin & checkout were simple. Communication was very good with the remote staff. Great location in central Reykjavik 10 minute walk to Hallgrímskirkja on 1 side and Rainbow Road on the other. Overall this was a nice property for us.
One thing we were disappointed about was lack of surface areas in the bathroom. Although there was a wall cabinet, a table or sink-high cabinet would have been much more functional & convenient.

A worker met me on arrival and walked me through how to use the entry code. The apartment was very large and well furnished, very comfortable. The apartment was within easy walking distance of many restaurants, bakeries, pubs, and the Hallgrimskirkja

The location was perfect!! Easy to walk to the Church and the Rainbow road. The apartment was small but had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.
I really have no complaints. It was excellent.

The couch/sofa wasn’t very comfy to sit on and didn’t lend itself to cozy or romantic nights in.

Location was very convenient to see the downtown.
It was not clean. There were food leftovers on the chairs and sofa. The bedroom was very dirty with hair on the sheets, dust all over the room. We had to sleep with our day clothes! Worst I have seen so far.

Location was fantastic, we were able to walk to top spots easily. The apartment was super spacious and clean, and the beds and blankets were comfy, too! Easy to do self check in and out, etc.

The location is amazing and feet from where you want to be, yet somehow quiet and quaint. The apartment was a good size and perfect for our 2 day adventure.
Nothing, just Iceland is expensive by nature but that is universal to everywhere in Iceland.
