Wonderful
The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to explore the area on foot, and it was also very convenient for reaching tour meeting points. The design is a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and Icelandic character, creating a beautiful and authentic atmosphere throughout the property. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed using the sauna, which was a great addition after a long day.
There was no assistance offered with the suitcases upon arrival, which was unexpected for a hotel of this standard. The breakfast was good in quality, but the selection was somewhat limited and could benefit from more variety. One important concern was related to room key security. After misplacing my key cards, I asked reception to cancel them. I was assured they had been deactivated and was issued a new card. However, I later found the original cards and discovered they were still active. Since the card holder included the hotel and room number, this represented a potential security risk if someone else had found them.

Stylish property located right in the middle of town with access to pretty much everything you could possibly want to do if you’re staying in Reykjavík. Reception was wonderfully kind. The airline had lost one of our luggage during travel and the hotel assisted us in every way possible. Thank you for a warm but short stay!

Great location , close to many pubs and restaurants I also liked that it was a smaller boutique hotel as well as its history
The room was a bit warm even though the window was cracked open. I only realized later that the heat was on. I assumed since the window was open, that it was not.
Out of the hotel’s control , I could hear after I turned off the lights to go to sleep, people talking loudly /partying on the street outside my window
