We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Sjonni. Was extremely helpful and sent us lots of useful information before arrival and was available to answer any questions throughout our stay.
The apartment was clean, spacious and more than everything we needed, very well equipped. The location was excellent, very close and central to lots of attractions, most within walking distance.
We had no trouble parking on the street outside and thanks to the information that had been pre sent paying for it was made really easy via the app.
The local bonus supermarket was just short drive away as well as smaller shops on the door step.
The area offers many shops and restaurants where you can usually find a happy hour before 6. The Irish bars start the earliest from 12 where you can get a pint of Guinness and a glass of wine for around 10. Don't forget to try the street food. It's fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spacious apartment, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood
This is a general complaint I have about most places I stayed in Iceland, but.... Considering there is no air conditioning, it would be nice if these places provided fans. My husband and I find stuffy rooms hard to sleep in and even a cheap portable fan would have made a huge difference in our sleep quality.

We stayed at Vesturgata 21b. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. Really light and spacious and a great location just a few minutes' walk to the harbour, Harpa, main shopping area etc. You have to pay to park on the street outside but we didn't think it was too expensive and you could park for free a little bit further away. We never had a problem finding a parking space. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was a good pressure. Also very fairly priced for such a large, central apartment. Communication with the host, Sjonni, was excellent with very clear instructions for access, recommended bakery, bar, restaurants etc. Also some really interesting additional information about Iceland. Our 3 night stay here was the perfect end to our week-long mini-road trip to Iceland. We would love to return!
