Atmosphere was nice , pillows and duvet really comfortable and room was nicely equipped
Shower was not inviting and really dirty so i could not have or enjoy a good hotel shower before bed
Booked a room with a double bed not two single beds but still got two singles so i did not at all get what i wanted for my money.

It is a nice hotel. The room was spacious.
The mattress was extremely soft. You drown in it and results in back pain. We asked for a firmer mattress, but they didn't have it. We decided to remove the mattress and sleep on the boxspring instead.

Overall the stay was good, the room was clean but small, the staff was courteous, recommended for short stays.
Assign rooms that require use stairs to elderly people with disabilities. Cannot connect my devices to YouTube, Netflix.....

Friendly staff, awesome location, next to the famous hot dog stand. Icelandic people are very friendly. Great place to stay. It was our second time staying there. Highly recommend it.?

The night manager, Kwaku was so helpful and kind as I found myself dropped off in Iceland with a reservation at another hotel that was cancelled by the booking partner! I arrived at 1 am desperate for a place to stay, and Kwaku was able to make room for me to stay two nights during peak tourist season. I can’t thank him enough for helping me in an urgent situation.

The room was beautiful and huge! The bathroom was practical and spacious, the bed was so comfortable, and the pillows were nice and firm! I slept very soundly! To me, it was the most comfortable bed and pillow we had on our whole two week trip. The front desk staff was also amazing! They were efficient with check-in and check-out, they took our bags, while confidently assuring us they would not be lost in the sea of luggage that was in the lobby for a soon to be leaving cruise(!), and helped us book a taxi to the bus terminal in advance. (I'm so sorry I missed your name but THANK YOU!) The location was also very convenient.
The room we were in had an incredible amount of chair sliding and furniture moving coming from the space above us. We were in one of the suite-type of rooms, so I'm not sure whether we were under some sort of event space but it was almost constant (it might have stopped while we were sleeping- we were very tired- but we noticed it again starting around 6am).

Great location, excellent breakfast and such a comfortable bed and pillows! Best night's sleep I've had in ages. Staff were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful.

The hotel is right in the center of Reykjavik. No free parking, so make sure to figure out in advance where to park a car. Though the hotel staff would advise you on that.
Historic building, large room. Comfortable bed. Clean! Very clean

The location was great. It was near so many restaurants and very easy to walk and sight see.
I was surprised there was no on site parking, but there is a parking structure just across the street so it was easy to access. My only critique would be to have the hotel validate parking for guests.
