I absolutely loved the location of this place! Everything was within walking distance, making it a breeze to explore the city without needing to rely on a car.
The only hiccup during our stay was the absence of an iron. While I understand it wasn't explicitly mentioned, we somehow expected one to be available. That aside, it's the only area that could use a bit of improvement. Overall, still a great experience!

Great location. Communication and checkin was easy, staff were helpful and kind. Has everything you need in your stay
I would advise you to get warm pejamas, its relatively warm but you'll still need to dress heavily in winter when u sleep. As windows do leak cold air

We (family of three) spent two very comfortable nights in Reykjavik at this place. Maria was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive, which we had the pleasure to meet as we were leaving. The apartment is in a great (best?) location, it is beautiful, comfortable, warm and cozy. Everything one might need is there, including an espresso machine that makes great coffee.
There is option for paid street parking, on the same street or neighboring ones. If you arrive late most spots might be occupied already.
We would definitely stay there again.
We liked everything.

Host was so so nice that I remember how nice she was a month later. She gave lots of recommendations for the local area and was really welcoming. It was super easy to get the keys and is in a super central location without being too overwhelming or loud

Nice location. Great shower. Most of what you need is there. The host was available on the phone and very friendly. This place should be good for a couple.
We stayed for a week, they left 2 rolls of toilet paper which obviously not enough. The apartment is very small it's hard to walk around, I think it's most suitable for a couple and not more. Parking in this area is an issue. There was another guest above us - the noise was sometimes horrible, you could hear every step they took. It was kind of hard to deal with the lock at the door.

Cosy apartment, very clean and close to the city center. Only a few 100m. Traffic is very limited so it is a quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and bars are very close. Also very close to a busstop for all your visits. Cold water is pure drinking water so no need to buy bottled water. In iceland they do not do that.
Hot water comes directly from a central system from the city so the smell is really sulphuric. That is all.

Perfect location, a quick walk to restaurants and the harbor, but also to the bus terminal where the excursion buses leave. Maria was very friendly and responsive. The apartment has everything you'd need with a kitchen, table, couch and TV. The bed was comfy. It's generally a quiet neighborhood though the bedroom window is on the street and you do hear people walking by at night.
The queen was two twins pushed together, and there were two twin quilts, though we had that throughout Iceland. We had a (friendly) neighborhood cat appear on our bed one night, apparently got in through an open upper window.

This cozy downstairs apartment was perfect for our family trip to Reykjavik! The location is great, walking distance to everything but super quiet and mellow. Great coffee maker, all loaded up, and lovely kitchen, nice dining table and comfy bed/pullout. So loved the whole area and felt indeed like locals:)) Thank you!!
The only challenge was the door handle, which was a bit sticky.

Maria's place was amazing. You cannot get a better location if you want to be in the center of the city. We gladly were able to meet Maria to get the keys and settle in as we were tired from driving all day. What we really enjoyed was the exceptional pillows, bedding and mattress - we are a bit picky about these things, especially pillows and these were perfect. Everything was tidy and to a good standard. We would return again when we come back to Reykjavik!
There was honestly nothing I can say that was really negative! Being a property renter myself, all I can do is suggest the following to make it an 11 out of 10! Disposable paper towels and a sweeper (for cleaning up after my kids!) Antibacterial hand sanitizer Basic cooking oils like olive oil to prepare a light meal Reading lamps in the bedroom
