Rooms were clean. Beds were firm which I like. Spa was nice. Staff were mostly friendly. Massages were good. Breakfast buffet was good.
Didn’t offer a refund when part of our party had to cancel. Had a rude awakening when staff accidentally called room at 6am. Pro tip: unplug phones. Smells like jet fuel sometimes. Cut foot on bathtub drain.

Lousy beds , room smelled and was a little dirty and no light in shower and floor to shower was very slippery , everything was a bit outdated except for the lobby

The hotel and staff were outstanding. The Breakfasts and suppers were beyong my expectations and the staff went out of their way to make it spectacular. The Spa was relaxing and the staff were also exceptional. Thank you.

The location was a bit industrial, but the rooms were adequate and clean. The food was incredible as was the wait staff in the restaurant.
The front desk receptionists were not overly helpful or polite.

This is an iconic hotel that opened back in the 1960s as Icelandair Hotel and has deep roots to Reykjavik. There is a beautiful Mural out front by the famouse Icelandic artist Nína Tryggvadóttir. The inside has modern art and the whole place feels very 1960s, its probaly to do with the wood panels inside. The place is welcoming, and has all the ammenties - spa, gym, bar and 24 hour service desk. Its a busy happening place, that is located a few kms out of the CBD. We drove and having a car this was the perfect spot, and close to a small forest and beach (about 1 km walk). It was clean and they had excellent toiletries from L'Occitane.
The rooms are small. Its next to an airport, so if you open your window you get to hear the sounds of the planes.

Clean, staff, and restaurant with good selections of buffet food.
Location a bit far from downtown (30 mins walk) (10 -15 mins walk to bus transport station) … would be nice if hotel offers complementary shuttle to downtown and BSI (bus station)! Near a small airport so it can get a bit noisy w the landing but we are not in room much so it didn’t bother us.

It was the perfect 1 night stay for the 2 of us after traveling all night. It’s not the most glamorous, luxurious vibes but it gets the job done and also not bad! Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and check in process was super easy. There’s also a restaurant inside the hotel

Disappointing
Stylish design internally, lots of parking if that is useful. TV had various English channels on it which was good so we watched some films that were on.
Bathroom in room was very small even though room was 'Twin Superior'
Bedroom lighting even with all the lights on was unnecessarily dim. Two of the side lights were broken in our room.
Hotel Location not made clear that there is an airport right behind which meant it was noisy on occasion when the window was open and a disused office building to the right hand side. Outside looks like a 1950's East German office building like in the films.
Food expensive, even the small fridge to side of lounge. Did not eat a meal in hotel as too costly but I did see people getting deliveries or bringing in food from supermarkets.
Breakfast was a mixed bag- watery beans, rubber scrambled eggs, extra fatty bacon, watery porridge but nice fresh bread and fresh fruit .

The location is good.
The staff is terrible. We booked the property long time ago and forgot about how many rooms we booked from two different websites. The staff assigned only one room for each booking. We ended up have to get the 3rd room on site. Then I diged up my records and found that we actually purchased three rooms with two different websites! It took me an hour to explain to the staff and it was a very long process and time waster when they in fact under assigned us the number of rooms!

It’s close to downtown by cab.
Perfect location as well for pick up and drop off if you’re going for activities/day tours.
It’s so clean! They changed our sheets every day and towels too, we didn’t have to ask (nothing got missing, so good news on that part ?)
Breakfast is amazing too, however, they don’t have live station but food is great!
Shower area is small but bathroom I think it’s decent size.
They have lifts! So you won’t have to worry dragging your luggages on the stairs.

I was absolutely amazed with this hotel. It’s at the perfect location. All the staff is amazing. Breakfast was very very good. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. I would definitely book it again.

Location was good and the onsite parking was a boon
Very small bathrooms and an even smaller shower area. Intercoms were not working and staff promised to look into it but never came back to solve the problem and since we had 3 rooms it was difficult to get in touch with the other people
