Comfortable, boutique, considered with excellent artwork and atmosphere. We stayed in several places in Iceland on this trip but Lotus was my favourite. If I had known ahead of time, I would have only stayed here. There were great touches that made the stay feel luxurious: day/evening lights, vanity kits, cakes and coffee in the breakfast room, and a great continental breakfast. The beds are incredibly comfortable and I loved the statues.
The rooms are a little small but so well organised we didnt notice too much.

The facility is super clean and eco friendly. The hotel is elegant and classic design. The host Maria ALWAYS welcomes you with big smile and kind heart. The breakfast buffet has lots of selection. The smoked salmon is the BEST. She helped me arrange shuttle bus to the airport. I lost my bag in the bus. She is very helpful in a way to assist me with lost and found. I found my bag. Thanks Maria. Highly recommend travelers for Hotel Lotus.
The location is not super close to city center. But it is walkable distance.

Nice modern hotel, well designed and well run. Breakfast was good, the lox was excellent. We arrived early and the staff let us have breakfast and relax in the dining area until the room was ready. Room was small but adequate for our 2 night stay. Only issue was location. Not much to see near the hotel and the center was too far away. We had a car so it was not a problem but next time I will look for a better location closer to the sights in Rekyavik

Loved the fresh flowers as soon as you walked in the lobby, and even one fresh one in the room too, very thoughtful touch.
The free parking conviently located right in front, made things so much easier for me!
I also appreciated the down feather comfy comforters, classy touch.
I liked that the room felt modern, with hot water and comfortable beds, and was extremely clean! I liked that it was cozy and good heating too, felt like my own little nook to warm up to after a day of adventures in the cold.
The free breakfast was wonderful, they had things there I would've made at home. It was also nice that you could have tea during the day with yummy baked goods! I definitely felt right at home.
And, the staff, so kind! Yulia even suggested I don't go to the Westfjords due to weather. And I am glad I listened, as the roads ended up closing later that day so i would've been stuck.
And Maria, the owner, was so sweet to tell me some of her favorite places, like a friend or family member would. It was a kindness that meant a lot to me.
Great deal, and 10 out of 10 with the small things that really add up. You can tell soul goes into this place and that's very nice see in a business.
When I return to Reykjavik, this will always be my first choice. A little retreat for me where I know I'll be well cared for.

I liked the late check-in using only the outside keypad with code and the keypad on the door of the room. Never saw anyone. The rooms were quite small but new and fresh. ideal for a stop
Expensive for a small room, but eveything is expensive in iceland.
