Excellent location right in the middle of the main shopping street, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. My room was good-sized for a single room in Europe. Bathroom was small but not cramped. The breakfast was good, with cold cuts, bread, fruits and vegetables, yogurt/skyr and cereals. I would definitely stay here again.

Right in the bustling tourist area, but rooms are quiet and off the road. Great breakfast! Front desk staff were very helpful. We ate at the attached restraunt the first night as we arrived late and the food was quite good. As best we can tell everything in iceland is profoundly expensive and from the money it seems Hotel Fron was a very reasonable place to stay.

Perfect location!! Very comfortable stay at Hotel Fron. And the breakfast buffet is amazing!! Great value for money. Highly recommend for your stay in Reykjavik. It books up so definitely book in advance. Also appreciated the early check-in.

Hotel Fron is a great place to stay in the heart of Iceland's capital. The rates were decent and the location couldn't be better for a stroll about the town. The staff was friendly and helpful and quick to offer suggestions about the town. Breakfast was healthy and fresh with more than enough to choose from. Would highly recommend!
Not much to complain about. When we first got into our room we did notice a sulfur smell coming from the bathroom. We closed the door to block the smell. Nothing drastic, probably the water as by morning the smell had gone.
