Busy and noisy on check in. School group running and noisy in halls.
Room was minuscule. Pillows way too big and hard.
Staff could have been more informative about room size on check in. We did not notice email about upgrading room.
Restaurant, although open on evening of check in, said we could not eat there as they were expecting a group.

I like location. Food court down the road in a building. Store to buy grocery near by. Walking distance to bay very close and about a mile away from downtown tourist/shopping section.
There were a lot of students, like high school. In the evening, they were very noisy

Clean, efficient, pleasant staff. They helped me get around using busses.
The breakfast was OK. Bread was not very fresh but it was all acceptable. The room had no chair, just a bed.

There is only one lift, thus long waiting when the hotel is full. Need to improve sound proof inside the room

Disappointing
The bed was very comfortable, and it was in a good location.
We had a room with no window (which we knew about!) but hearing the staff, yelling, laughing and slamming doors at 7am was unacceptable. Our “window” was on the other side of some sort of staff area, and it was not pleasant trying to sleep when they were so loud.

Was close to the cruise terminal the buses ran along outside
There wasn’t anything I really didn’t like it would’ve been nice was closer to downtown, but it was close to the terminal so you can’t have it all

We booked 3 rooms. Check-in procedure so slow although we checked-in online in advance. Your staff sent us to the room already had guests lived there. It let us so embarrassy. We were not happy on the arrangment.

It was close to a grocery store and gas station (within walking) and we had a good view from our room. Parking is free, and you could walk into the central part of town but we didn’t due to rain.
Rooms were quite small, but fine for one night. Was also very hot to our preference but were able to open a window and it was a little more manageable.

Exceptional
The staff is wonderful! They have a buffet breakfast and dinner. If you book through the hotel, the breakfast is included. Food is good. Yes, there may be fancier food around Reykjavik but as someone wanting to get up and going, the convenience is superb.
