The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. The facility was clean. And it is in a very quiet location, which was really appreciated.
The rooms were more dated than what I had expected, and the bathroom required a little manoeuvring to get in and out of the door way.

A great location that's not too long of a walk to downtown Reykjavik. While the breakfast offered is paid, the selection is excellent and may just be well worth the price for it. The automated coffee maker was a neat surprise with a variety of selections to choose from.
Parking was a bit iffy. Other reviews stated there was a parking garage, though this was never mentioned to me during my stay. Instead, I opted for the free street parking so I could come and go as needed, but at times it could be difficult to find a space to fit a larger car after coming back from driving to various sites.

The breakfast was outstanding. Great variety of food , wonderful breads and pastries and excellent cappucino machine. Helpful front desk and breakfast room staff. Quiet room with comfortable beds.
Our room was small and felt gloomy due to gray paint and industrial vibe and lack of a comfortable chair. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were of bad design and partially broken.
