I loved our view, the convenient breakfast, the proximity to the grocery store and the staff.
The location was a bit far from the city center. I wish the breakfast was a little cheaper. No refrigerator in the rooms or ice machine to keep beverages cold. This could be more of an American luxury to get ice at anytime. I was able to purchase ice at the grocery store down the street though.

The hotel staff were exceptional and would help with any need and were accommodating to all requests. The rooms we perfect and plenty or room to store all your gear. The showers were perfect and honely the best hot water I have ever experienced.
The hotel has a really nice buffett breaskfast every morning which was great before heading out sight seeing. Also in the evenings they served simple soup or sandwich dinners that were well done.

We received a complimentary upgrade and so the room was a quite big but unsure the difference between our original booked room.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower pressure was very weak which made it hard to wash thick long hair.
They don't really have a dinner menu which is a missed opportunity as they have a very large dining area.
Price was quite high for the level of quality and location of the hotel.

Best breakfast I had while in Iceland! Organic scrambled eggs made in small batches with so many kinds of cheeses, fruits, spreads, juices, breads. Super friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful room.
Almost 20 minute walk to downtown area which isn't that bad except on the cold, windy and rainy days. 30 minute walk to Perlan which was better than if I had stayed in the center of downtown.

The breakfast was delicious!! The room was lovely and very clean. I love the room's design. The bed was VERY comfortable. The blackout curtains were a plus and the staff was AMAZING and incredibly helpful. Great hotel!!!!
I love the shower but water definitely gets on the floor. But I still love the bathroom!! The perfect size and very clean.

Very good location. On premise restaurant had good food and chef was so pleasant. Rooms were clean.
Room was small, bathroom very small. Only one small shelf for toiletries right over toilet. Toilet paper holder broken off so no where for it to be. Poor water pressure in shower. Housekeeping only 1 day a week of which we got to choose the day, seems unreasonable for the high price of the room. No extra towels provided unless you asked for them, so I guess we were supposed to use the same towels for 3 days? :( We asked for tissues, to which we were told there is only toilet paper provided. Odd. We bought our own at the grocery store around the corner. Front desk not friendly at all. Never said good morning unless we said it first. Price of room not in line with quality of hotel. In need of updating throughout.

Staff was easy to reach and work with during booking, and very friendly and accommodating when we arrived. The aesthetics inside are on point. Restaurant is gorgeous and the dinner was great. Chef came out to ask for any feedback. Just awesome staff you guys have here.
It's not exactly a cute street it's on, but the walk to the main shopping/dining area isn't bad.

The breakfast was really good, the staff were very nice, the location was good and not too far from the downtown, it was quiet, the TV stations were good too and the WiFi worked well. I really appreciated that there was free coffee and tea available.
There was no toilet paper holder next to the toilet, this was kind of annoying.

We picked this based on cost and free parking. Had breakfast there a couple mornings with lots of variety.
Pillows were pretty thin. Bed was very comfortable though.

The room and especially the bed were both beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding (but not included). An accidental duplicate charge was handled immediately.
No ice machine but the bar/restaurant will gladly give you a bucket of ice. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Personally I hate the European idea of two duvets instead of top sheet/blanket/comforter. However that is pretty universal over there. Parking is a bit limited but did not cause a problem for us.

The whole atmosphere was wonderful! Cozy, beautiful, relaxing, it smelled nice. We could have hung out in the lobby with some glog for hours. There was a cozy section with some books to read and the most comfortable hanging chair as well. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were also very cozy and clean with great lighting. The bathroom was lovely, the shower too. It just felt homey and we enjoyed it so much. I also loved all the touches with consideration for the environment: toothpaste tabs for the guests, compostable trash bags, the most delightful and earth-conscious shampoos and soap, even an actual towel in the lobby toilet instead of just paper towels. That says a lot about the values of those in charge, and it stood out. We highly recommend it and would stay here again!
