The location is not bad, walking distance to several locations we need to go. We got there earlier, have no problem to get in and store our luggage there, then come back later to check in. It has all the necessary facilities.
I think it need some upgrades soon, there is a kitchen in the room, but not much you can do, I don't think you can cook much there. For the price we paid, I think it's a good value. If I need pay more, I would like to spend at a brand hotel instead.

Small but have everything you need. Owner was nice and helpful.
Bathroom has some smell. Owner explained it’s due to the water. But we didn’t have this issue for rest stays. The kitchenette vents nob is broken.

This 3 bedroom apartment had THE perfect view of the city. For new years it was incredible to watch the fireworks. The rooms were warm and very comfortable. Having the kitchen space and couch was great for me and my siblings. The bathrooms are a great size and having 2 was amazing. The location is just down the street from all the main traffic. It is quiet and easy to walk everywhere.
The couch had some stains on it, the bedrooms were tight to have luggage. If each room had 2 people for 6 total it would have been tight. For the 3 of us in each room it was perfect.

Wonderful
Rexa was an incredible help when we checked into the apartment. The view of the church and the city from the balcony was inspiring. The beds were comfortable, and the water was plentiful, hot, and tasted great out of the tap.
Controlling the water temperature in the showers was an art. The sulfur smell took about a day to get used to, but it wasn't an issue with the taste.

There was parking in front of the property building. The host was nice and helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean. Hallgrimskirkja could be seen from the apartment terrace.

Good location and space.
Dishwasher was broken, shower holder missing, property not clean on arrival.
On arrival when turning on the cold tap, the water coming out was scolding hot and burnt one of our party. Only when I mentioned this was I told hat there was a fault with the water system and we were to 'run the cold tap for 5 minutes' in order to get cold water. There was no mention or sign of this in the flat and we hadn't been warned of this potentially dangerous situation. An unsuspecting person/child could have been seriously burned. I also overheard the receptionist telling another guest the same. I followed this up with the property and they have not had the decency to reply, even after booking.com got involved. Until thee owners take responsibility and spend a bit of money on the property avoid at all cost.

2 inner bedrooms were too hot, kitchen ware needs replacing, this size apt needs a full-size fridge with a freezer, bathrooms need renovating to prevent water from wetting the bathroom floor, shower needs stronger water pressure

The best part of this apartment is the location and affordability. We were a short walk from everything you'd want to see in Reykjavik,but just a couple blocks from the bustle of tourist activity, so it was a nice, quiet street. It was a decent place to stay, the room was nice, had a bathroom and kitchenette with a fridge and hotplate. The host was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
The beds felt old and were not super comfy.

The best thing about this place was how easy it was to get there and to access the room. They sent out very clear directions, which was appreciated. It also felt secure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were kitchen items that could be used to prepare food, which was helpful. There was also a binder on the table that had information for the facility and information about Reykjavik that was helpful. The location is right next to the main shopping street Laugavegur.
We checked in after the front desk hours had closed for the day and the bathroom had an AWFUL smell. I don't mean like the sulfuric smell that comes along with Iceland. I mean, this was like swamp gas. I think it was because we were on the bottom floor and it was a drainage issue (although there was no clog that we could see). We ended up showering at the local pool and using the restroom when we were out and about just to avoid the bathroom. The good news is that once you closed the door, you couldn't smell anything, so the room itself smelled fine.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was great. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and very large with kitchen facilities and our own bathroom. Yes, the hot water smells a little but that is just a fact of geothermal water heating and it was the same in a fancier hotel that we stayed at to start a tour. This place is great value for your money. It is an easy walk to the water front (15 minutes) or to Laugavegur Street (5 minutes) which is one of the main tourist streets with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It was also very quiet at night. We have no complaints. It was all good!

For Reykjavik the price was reasonable. The room was clean, with strong wifi. Very great location.
Loud fridge, very little kitchen tools. Communication via booking chat was not great or fast. The payment was not done via booking but through a very, very shady website. I thought I was scammed. The room requires a little maintenance, but overall I do recommend and would return.

I guess there is an issue with the city water because getting cold water was a challenge. Had to let the water run for several minutes before we could get cold water from the taps. But, on the plus side, there was plenty of steaming hot water!
