A lot of noise outside, cause it’s on the Main Street. You can hear the club music all night on a Saturday.

Hotel was clean.
No parking, no microwave oven in rooms or at reception. Not enough sockets by bed, can’t control lights from bed area, noisy during the weekends (due to location), no cutlery.

The attendants were all very nice, friendly, and helpful. They tried to get us in earlier than the 2 pm check-in time. They also provided great recommendations on where to eat and see sites. This location is easy to get to after getting off the Flybus.
No "American" plugs. Luckily, we had brought a European one with us. We had no idea how to put the air conditioning on since the room was very warm.

Great location close to entertainment and public transport. Bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly.
Elevator was dated. Shower had no shelve for soap and shampoo and razor.

Location was great right in the center of town walkable to restaurants shops and a terrific bakery. Easy to get around taxi stand near by. Cost us $200 USD to get to airport via taxi ( was a holiday weekend) Front desk was helpful and very informative.
Under construction due to a water leak two weeks prior. Carpets were torn up general disarray on floor 2&3 i.e. vacuums were left out in the hallways, utility closet doors were missing . It was was also very loud ( 3 rd floor )we heard noise till 4am.

Location - walk to everything (almost)
Owner - very personable and helpful
Lobby - very funky furniture, decorations, etc.
Accommodations- small but comfortable and complete
On Saturday nights the front rooms are noisy, as the street is a main gathering place until 5 AM; but we went out and walked around from midnite until 2:30….interesting. Just ask for a back room.

Initially, the location, as it’s right in the centre of the city. However, we really liked the quirkiness of the hotel and its owner’s taste.
The bed was perfect. Firm mattress and weighted duvet made for a great night’s sleep.
It doesn’t do breakfast, although we hadn’t booked it so didn’t know. Not their fault.

Great location for access to Reykjavik
Right in the middle of the night club area. We were there on Friday night, and the music didn’t stop until 3 am. The hotel provided ear plugs and sleep mask, which helped.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly. The hotel provides earplugs to block out the noise from the all night music that plays at the neighboring pubs. The hotel decor is very eclectic.
Our room was on 2nd floor, which was under renovation after a water pipe break. The folks doing the work blocked the hallway to our room with materials and ladders, which I actually moved a ladder to be able to get by.
