Travelled Europe extensively but center klopp provided the best guest service by Farooq Ahmed! He made me & I noticed, other guests feel so welcome & special. Because of him, I am considering coming back to iceland & telling my friends to travel to Iceland & book Center Hotel Klopp.
The free Breakfast needs much to be desired But excellent guest service made up for the free breakfast.

The toilets had a very distinct smell that was off putting when you entered the toilet. Fortunately the room did not smell and the room was comfortable.

Farouk was very nice and knowledgeable about everything from parking to where to eat. Provided us with a map and wrote out very good notes about the surrounding area, also gave us a coupon book for the city.
Our room window was facing the street and plenty of noise coming from the bar across.

Most of the location was great. Staff was great. Breakfast was impressive. It is downtown in a large city. We did have a street light outside our window and a lovely Irish pub across the street, which was as popular as it was lovely. We did open the windows since October is a shoulder month. Short walk to everything.
Street light and popular bar across street, both not hotels fault just part of experience in large city.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff was super friendly and gave us a ton of recommendations and answers all our questions. The room was clean and the building has an elevator to get there. The location is super close to key locations of Reykjavik.
Just the size of the room was a bit tight. The toaster in the breakfast was so slow it was making a queue.

Wonderful
Location was perfectly in the middle of Reykjavik city center. The bus stop was just a short walk away and there were multiple restaurants around the area. The main shopping street was just a street away too, which was nice for the people in my family who loved to buy souvenirs. Everything in Reykjavik was accessible either on foot or by bus. I was able to visit many museums and do some mural hunting on foot, while also heading to the Reykjavik International Film Fest venue.
Breakfast was simple but filling. I also want to send my appreciation for Farouk who made check-in very easy and gave us a lot of good tips to enjoy our stay in Iceland.
Since it's in the middle of everything, it can get noisy at night due to being right next to bars. It's not too bad if the windows are closed, but we did have to crack them open to lower the temperature in the room at night. Also, the front door has two steps which you'd need to haul your luggage over. This shouldn't be a problem for anyone who can lift/pull their luggage over it, but may be challenging for seniors as the front door is also a bit heavy.

Wonderful
The bed was comfy! Sheets clean. Nice having 2 duvets!
I didn't know it when I booked the hotel, but we ended up renting a car to use while we were in Iceland. It was poor planning on my part but be aware there is no assigned parking for the hotel. I think it was mentioned when I booked though. Front desk was able to advise me on where to park and how to pay. We didn't get a ticket!

It was conveniently located. Breakfast was good, but no bacon or eggs like many people like.
There was no temperature control for the room.

Good
Friendly staff and great location! Decent breakfast, and good facilities, though a bit worn.
Odor of sewer gas from the bathroom sink drain was off-putting. This was reported to the front desk, but I didn’t get the impression they took me seriously.
