Sauna, hot tub, workout room, great front desk staff and cute rooms and we loved the shared balcony as we were able to determine the level of cloudiness without leaving our room....no northern light sightings for us unfortunately. I think there are probably a lot of great locations to stay in Reykjavik, and this was certainly one of them.

Conveniently located in town. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were helpful.
Breakfast is normally included in room rate as well as other amenities but not when room is booked through Booking.com. Breakfast was expensive.

Enjoyed the stay, clean!
The sauna and hot tub was a great addition to enjoy after long days out exploring. Also a great touch was the free use of the phone! Loved that! Location was wonderful too
You could feel the divide between the two beds that make it a 'king' bed. I would recommend to add lotion to the rooms if you can.

The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful and we loved the hot tub! We even saw the Northern Lights from the hot tub our first night.
The bed was a little firm for my liking (although my husband thought it was fine). We also had the basic king room and for a 5 night stay there wasn't great storage for all of our things although we made it work. Wish that we could have cast to the tv from our phone.

We liked the cleanliness. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast offerings were outstanding. Your gluten-free toast bread was the best I've ever had.
A rack for luggage would be helpful so we didn't have to place it on the bed after coming from a flight that we don't know how dirty you got

The king size room that we were in was incredibly small. You could hear everything and everybody terrible.
I asked for early check-in months ago when we got there, they were unable to accommodate us at the time. The clerk said it was really busy and they were unable to do it, but we were sitting in the lobby, waiting for them to try and find something for us when we saw several people being checked in early. Don’t know what that was all about.

Excellent location in down town, walkable distance to
bus stop, from where you can actually buy excursions to blue lagoon, diamond beach, and so on
The hotel staff even provided cell phone with free hot spot , so you can use it to navigate the city!
The room was spacious and cozy, there was no noise at night so you can sleep
I could not think of anything.

Location and overall convenience of the hotel
Fitness center was quite poor, very small and no thread mill. Beds were not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel, we had 2 twin beds put together disguised as one.

The staff was excellent, great central location. Loved having a balcony and was able to see the aurora from it multiple times (rare to see from inside the city). We used the hot tub multiple times. And had an option to surprise my wife with a bottle of wine while on our 20th anniversary trip.
That the balcony was not separated from the other rooms, it's one wrap around balcony that you could walk by other rooms. I always felt bad when I walked by one and there is someone in their room. No real on site parking (they can't help that) but we used the parking garage 2 blocks away.
The room heater is hidden behind the chair, which we did not see until the 2nd or 3rd day. We had no idea lol.
