Beautiful guesthouse in a quiet location in nature. Super clean and tidy, actually much nicer than the pictures. Great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, and two very friendly and cute dogs in the yard. :)

The guest house was clean and well managed. Our hosts were friendly and the location was exceptionally beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the farm, seeing the sheep, Icelandic horses and sheep dogs. Using the common kitchen was a way to interact with the other guests and find out what was good to see in the area.
We were very satisfied. There was nothing we didn't like.

The host were so nice like we had a feeling we are their friends on the visit. Such a lovely atmosphere and place. Propos to the breakfast. Shared spaces are very well equipped. Beds very cozy.

Amazing place to stay. We werent sure about accomodation with shared bathroom but finally it was completetly OK. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 showers for 5 rooms I guess, so you do not have to be afraid that you will wait a long time for using bathroom. Owner was super helpful, nice and keys were prepared behind the door once we arrived with number of our room and our name on it. Breakfast was in home style well-prepared with everything you need for the morning. On each table was a coffe, you could prepare tea. Outside is amazing view to the valley and due to kind of loneliness this farm, this is one of the best place in Iceland, to be and see the Northern Lights. Hot tub is ready for use all day and night (no added expenses). Kitchen is very well equiped. We didnt need that but there is also washing machine. Location is very strategic for the Silver Circle and Hsafell hikes. Definitely when we will come back to Iceland we will come back to here. Thanks!

Very quaint, cute dogs, good breakfast, nice hot tub fed by geothermal waters. Sheep and horses nearby! We saw the northern lights! Very clean.
You are in close proximity to other guests. We expected this as this is the nature of a guesthouse! But you are someone at the mercy of other guests behaviors, if theyre up late etc.

This wonderful place will always remain to me the first place where we witnessed the northern lights. But apart from that, the guest home is homely and inviting, the rooms are cozy with a private sink for brushing teeth, and our host and hostess were very welcoming people. We can only recommend!

Great old farm house with Charme and hot tub.
There needs to be better communication with what kind of room you get.
It says "double or twin" and I asked for double but apparently there is only one double so we got a twin as a couple.

There were many aspects of the property we loved. Everything was spotless, including the bathrooms. It was the first time we had a shower tall enough for my partner, which was a huge plus. The bedroom was much bigger than we expected and had a beautiful view. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The hot tub was very relaxing for us to unwind and enjoy the landscape. The road conditions were too icy for our car to go to the guesthouse, and the owners, Gufinna and her husband, went above and beyond and picked us up. We hope to be able to stay the next time we are in Iceland!

A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark.
Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night.
The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals.
It's definitely a home away from home.
Breakfast tasty display. Shower/ toilets downstairs, upstairs room with magnificent views.
