Location is amazing, the cottage is very charming and the host was super friendly and responsive.
The beds were a little hard but that was very minor. Everything else was perfect!

Perfect location, like the end of the world. Stunning views. The apartment was equipped best in class, even the candles :) the hot tub was a great addition. It was super clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. It was the best stay I had in Iceland.

This is such an amazing place the fjord, the little house, the hot tub and the very nice landlord. We enjoyed our three days very much. The only thing to consider is that getting there is about a 1 hour drive on a rather well behaved gravel road. So we would highly recommend staying at least two or three days such that you can profit from this fantastic little house. We would come back anytime.

Super comfortable cottage in a stunning location. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great little stove with oven, the space is compact but well designed and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake. We watched whales and seals in the fjord as we soaked in the hot water. The drive into the fjord is not for the faint of heart, but when you get there you are rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the country.

I got a message that says to bring everything even the food but I surprised that even the water I should bring it and the coffee or tea, also the shower gel and shampoo but unfortunately the nearest grocery is about 45 minutes by car , so I advise the guests to bring really everything thing..

By far our favorite place to stay in all of Iceland!! The drive to the cabin was a blast!! My teenage boys loved the hot tub after a long hike up the mountain. The grill came in handy and kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were super comfortable. Loved everything about this place. The view is majestic!!
Only feedback Id give is having shampoo/body wash wall mounted in the shower. We didnt pack much thinking there would be toiletries at each location so we ended up using hand soap to wash off with. Nothing big but would be a great help.

If you are looking for something different this is your place. A really quiet place with no tourists and wonderful views. The way to arrive is an off-road and you need approximately 1h to go across 30km but it is really worth it because the surroundings are really beautiful. Having a 4x4 is not mandatory but I really recommend it to arrive. The cabin was perfect for 2 people and is fully equipped. It also has a hot tube outside that was a must to relax at the end of the day with great views to the fjord.

It's a beautiful, cozy hut with breathtaking views into the mountains and over the fjord. So quiet and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen, cute bathroom and a good mattress to sleep like a baby.
The owners are very friendly and were extremely helpful to me on the first morning after arrival.... Also they gave me a nice hint to a hike above the hut, which was very nice.
The beauty of the setting is definitely worth riding the not so nice unpaved road. Just take it easy, it's only 32km with great views.
The road IS tricky.....

Hands down the best location in our 21 day trip around Iceland! Views were just breathtaking and the cottage was cozy and great! Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here. The host was also very friendly and greeted us on arrival and just before departure.

Great views - right on the Fjord. Hot tub was perfect. Views on the way in and out were amazing, but two nights would be better than one, given the distance in.
Curtains were not blockout in the loft - so hard to sleep up there. Shower tiles old and chipped.
