This was really just a place to stay for our early next day flights home. We were very happy with the accommodations and realized that we wanted to eventually come back and see more of Keflavik because it is a charming town of what we were able to see in our short time there. The Hotel Jazz was perfect though we did not get to meet any of the staff as we arrived late and had to leave early.
One thing that was negative (not about the hotel) was the price of the 7-minute cab ride to and from the hotel to the airport but that is for a different review.

Advertise free breakfast but when we went down there was nothing. Had to use the lobby phone and the woman said she told us at check in there wouldn’t be any breakfast. None of us heard that. She then out out coffee, juice and cereal

The property was clean and well located. Breakfast was good. The staff was lovely.
The claim that they have an airport shuttle is false. The “shuttle” is just the regular city taxi! The taxi cost 4500 ISK which is about $37 US dollars or 32 Euro. Then they charged an additional 3000 ISK for a baby seat. I booked this hotel because the listing on Booking says that they have an airport shuttle. Instead of having an actual airport shuttle we ended up paying an additional 7500 ISK for a six minute taxi ride. That’s over $60 USD for a six minute taxi ride!! We’re Canadian and that’s over $85 CAD for us. Totally dishonest marketing that cost us a lot of money. I am going to officially complain to Booking.

Location was great as we were flying out early the next morning. It was nice to take a walk along the waterfront before our flight. Clean. Breakfast included.
No staff to greet us or to ask questions or get recommendations. Very impersonal for a "family run motel." Room was too hot for sleeping and no way to regulate and no ability to open the window.

Great location, nice area to walk around in with shops and the sea close by. Beds were great and the shower was a good size. Not typically found. We didn't have breakfast but it was available. Our very late check-in was easy with everything made available to us.
We wished more than the 1 small panel on the window would have opened as it was a warm night.

Superb location. Very quiet and private.
There should be a way to open the window more than just a crack so you can get that beautiful cool Iceland air into your hot hotel room that smells like someone just took a shower a few hours ago. Just sayin.
