The location is good, not far from the main road. The room is very clean and well thought out. The check in process is very easy. The kitchen was well equipped. Able to park our car right in front of the house which makes moving luggages especially convenient

Location was perfect for what we needed...close to the National Park. Our unit was clean and very neat. Decorated nicely too.
The only negative with our stay was we couldn't get the stovetop to work. We came back from a long day of hiking to fix dinner and not have it work. It is induction so while the light would come on, none of the pans seemed to work with it. Not sure if they were the wrong type or if something else was the matter with it. Was able to use the oven so all was not lost.

spacious, well supplied kitchen, bathroom, and living room. Very comfortable bed and a nice private distance from the other cabins.
loose small sized gravel that my car almost got stuck in, Lack of longer, darker curtains if one wants to sleep in.

I loved this location! It was conveniently situated right off the Ring Road, making it easy to stop and continue on our journey the next day. This was one of my favorite places because it was fully furnished and included a private kitchen and bathroom. We also enjoyed a stunning sunrise the following morning.

Nice little studio apartment with small kitchen for food prep. Much more spacious that a hotel room. Very clean and comfortable. Not a lot of "frills", but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

It was a good location for a one night stay as we explored the south coast of Iceland. We could park right outside the door which was convenient in the pouring rain.
The TV didn’t work. The hardware on the window was stripped. We were afraid the wind would catch it. The bathroom door knob was loose. The light over the stove was burned out.

Comfortable sofa was great for relaxing after travel. It was nice to have an alternate seating option besides the beds and kitchen chairs.
Our unit was on the backside, so no view from the room unfortunately. The kitchen area was a bit cramped with counter space very limited. The one useable outlet was at the foot of one bed by the door and it was difficult to charge my watch since it has a short cord and there was nowhere to rest it. We were only staying for one night, so these things didn’t bother us too badly.

The whole place was super clean and cozy. The kitchen had some basic tools for making food and included coffee, which was greatly appreciated. The bathroom had a heated rack, which was perfect for drying out our wet clothes and bathing suits.

Unfortunately, we've spent just one night, but was really great. Fresh air and quiet location. I've been amazed of the quality of the chalet (it was a chalet, not a room). Clean, very ergonomic organized kitchen, a great value bathroom ( 4* hotel level), and all in a cozy, midsize chalet. Everything was functional and ready to use. For us, was a great pitstop on our Ring Road Journey, Great value for money.
The mobile area network it's not working great, but we had a real support from the excellent wi-fi. Just pin on your map, this excellent spot in Kalfafell ! You'll not regret it !
