The location is incredible easy access to golden circle for tourist activities and local towns for grocery shopping and great restaurants. The geothermal hot tub OMG.
I have some allergies and there were some glade plug ins installed etc but was able to easily air the small space. Very friendly kitty very sweet and it's a working farm but I'm allergic ? she did leave us alone after a few gentle splashes.

The proprietor was very friendly, responsive and very detailed with instructions. The ambience was amazing. Our cabin was comfy and cozy, and had everything we needed. The property is very tranquil.
We didn’t find this gem sooner.

A great place to stay when doing the Golden Circle. Grocery, pharmacy, gas stations etc nearby but you feel tucked away in the county side. The private hot tub is such a luxury to have!
Sabine was a wonderful host, providing lots of helpful info about the area.

The hot tub was amazing! Our hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful.
We weren't prepared for 2 single beds to be on a sleeping loft with a rather precarious access stairway. But that could have been because I didn't read the information carefully enough. Might I suggest a guard rail is added?

The guesthouse was charming and just what we needed. The hot pot was fantastic after a day of hiking. The location is perfect for day trips down the coast.

the location, between the airport and the golden circle, perfect to start a trip around the ring road
no space to open the suitcases! it’s a tiny house and with a family we had 2 big suitcases which we could not open :)

The unit was beautifully finished with everything you could need. The hottub was delightful and the host sent us so many brilliant recommendations for dining and activities in the surrounding areas. Couldn't have asked for anything else.

We loved the location. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and then seeing the beautiful horses in the morning as we ate breakfast out on the deck!
The only negative was the shower drainage is slow so you have to stop and turn off the water periodically to let it drain so it doesn't overflow. This is just a minor problem and the other positive things about the house outweigh this!

Very cozy and authentic. Great for a family. The hotpot is nice to chill out in the evening.
Space for luggage a little bit limited. But can be managed without a problem.

The jacuzzi and the design of the house was amazing.
The drain in the shower could be improved. We spoke to the host and they were trying to resolve the issue. We appreciated it.

The tiny house was so cute and perfect for our family of 4 to stay in. The owner even set it up so that my kids could meet the horses and have some time petting them. Perfect country stay!

Visited the second time after 3 years and just as magical as we remembered. we had some amazing snow fall when we were here. perfectly located to explore the golden circle and south coast Iceland. we actually spent a day just totally relaxing in the cabin and watching the snow storm. hot tub is amazing, brilliant view of the valley, horses, stars and we got a glimpse of the aurora! my now fiancé just proposed to me here and he couldn’t have chosen a better place, we will remember that moment here forever and will definitely return another time in the future for special occiasions. also cute cats came to greet us whilst we were sitting outside and we love kitties. warm and cozy and very well equipped, we could come back forever and live in this cabin it is so beautiful. thanks to Sabine for the beautiful fresh flowers and amazing cabin decoration and hosting. if you get the chance to stay here, do it, it will become a special place in your heart forever ❤️
