Our favourite stay in Iceland, GORGEOUS place to stay, hot tub was lovely. The hosts were really helpful and nice. Wish we could've stayed here longer. If we had an extra day I would've said we should stay 2 nights instead and have a day in the area to relax to break up the road trip.
Literally nothing, loved this place.

The location is amazing. Breathtaking views and cute cottages! Had everything we could need. The cottages are on the small side but were plenty big for us two as we were there to explore mostly. The geothermal tub was superb. The host was very helpful and gave us good advice when the weather was expected to turn. She kept us safe.
Stove had issues - kept tripping power but the host was helpful! Otherwise we just didnt like that the weather shortened our stay! We had to leave early to avoid travel issues the next day. We were so sad to leave!

Quiet place with amazing views. The cottage was clean and well-equipped.
The hot tube was ready for us on arrival, but the water was not hot enough, probably because of the frigid wind.

The location is great to relax as away from the city and the chalet are quite far apart so you don't get disturbance for neighbours. The plus is that you have a hot tub just for you on the the proch so you can relax and watch the aurora nice and warm.

Fantastic! Amazing views over the Fjord, able to see whales by day and the northern lights by night. Great kitchen facilities and comfortable beds.

What can I say about Ytri Vik?!!! It was the most fantastic location, great cabin with incomparable views. Only regret is that I forgot to mark on my notes they had a hot tub waiting for us and I booked The Forest Lagoon right before getting there. Also regret we did not stay more days.

Was clean and recently updated. Great location, right by the sea, with great view.
We ran out of coffee, and they came to give us a refill in the morning. Much appreciated. Also, they were very responsive when the hot tub was too hot, they came by and fix the temperature right away.
Also, we were pretty excited that we got to catch a glimpse of the northern lights on our stay. Watching the northern lights from our hot tub on the front porch was amazing!
Was a little bit crammed for three people. But we made it work.
