Great breakfast! Nice selection. Attendant was very aware of the breakfast station and how/when it needed to be restocked. Very friendly.
No view from our room except for the new building being built across the street.

Manager tried to break into our room before 6 am and then sat outside the door drinking. I tried to call front desk for help but no answer. He had an override key. It was extremely frightening

This is an ideally situated hotel if you're on your way to or from Reykjavik on Ring Road 1. I think this area is an undiscoved gem. Staff was wonderful and I felt poorly treated by some other guests. Restaurant was excellent - were there for dinner and breakfast. If you need a place to be restored on the Ring Road, spend a night here.

Room was large and clean.
There is a low rumbling sound that must be the restaurant exhaust system. The sound stopped around 10pm. It was not awful, but you could hear it and feel a vibration on the windows.

Our suite was very spacious. The location is very convenient to the Straeto bus stop, grocery stores, and some diners. The jacuzzi and sauna looked very nice, though we didn't have the time to use them.
The restaurant was closed because of a group event; would have been nice to been told that when we checked in. There was no info about the spa facilities in the room, nor were we told about them at check-in; somehow, you were supposed to just know. There was only one outlet by each nighstand, taken up by the bedside lamps; for a relatively new hotel, I would expect charging ports or available outlets by the bed.

We stayed in a clean room with big picture windows overlooking an inlet of Borgarfjörður. Buffet breakfast has lots of selections even including scrambled eggs, which seems a rarity.
Parking can be limited as it shares the rear lot with neighboring properties. Uninviting dark underground hot tub and sauna. One particular surly female receptionist that checked us in left a bad impression. Not too many restaurant choices in the small town except the few fast food places across the main street. There is a Nettó also however.

Nice and clean hotel with lots of facilities/amenities. Located next to grocery stores with everything a short walk from the hotel. Rooms were modern and had a nice view.

Nice room, dinner menu is so delicious but included breakfast is soso. Location is so good! Netto is just opposite.
VERY limited onsite parking. Staff are very friendly but quite slow.
