Super clean , and look nice inside, marble stairs , pics on walls - as a small museum itself. Room was big enough and comfortable l. Amazing view from the rooftop! I guess it is one of the highest place in the district, so you see the whole town from the top! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing from the rooftop. Every place to visit is very close to the hotel - 7-15 min walk. And such a helpful and kind owner and his wife. Very happy to stay there

Fantastic budget guesthouse, located in the old town of Udaipur. Rooms are basic but clean, bathroom is a little small, but it was perfect for me. As a solo female traveller I felt safe, both in the guesthouse and the surrounding neighbourhood. Owners are truly amazing, they are always around looking after the guesthouse and their guests. The rooftop is probably one of the best places in Udaipur for sunrise and sunset. I will definitely come back in the future!

Deepak, the host and owner, showed me absolutely amazing hospitality, always providing me with anything I need and advice. The location was great, very central but very quiet for being in the centre of an Indian City. The rooms were nice and clean. Overall a great stay

Mewar Avenue guest house is well-located and surprisingly easy to find on foot (my bus dropped me at the town hall). Deepak is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host (insisting that I went to the roof before leaving to view the sunset) and his parents are lovely too. The room was clean and quiet, despite close to the centre of the bustling market and the city is easy to navigate on foot from here. The views from the rooftop are excellent.
I look forward to visiting again, when the rooftop is re-opened for breakfast.
