Beautifully and thoughtfully curated, a slice of home life In Udaipur that Akshay & his family are kind enough to share with us. Great location, attentive and helpful staff, and Akshay doubles as a wonderful tour / shopping guide. Food was great too.

I absolutely loved Little Garden so much! I arrived with a bit of an upset stomach and was so grateful to have a comfortable room to rest and recover. Akshay and his team are so lovely and helpful - they even made me a simple dinner and brought it to my room and everyone was just so attentive and nice.
The whole haveli is stunning - I loved how 3 generations live here together. Unlike many other havelis, they have put a lot of effort into gently renovating and restoring the house without taking any of the historic charm away. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with good wifi and aircon. And while the furniture is traditional, the bathrooms are new - hot water and good water pressure for the win!
They also offer a great breakfast with options between Indian or international food.
The team also helped me organize a driver to Jodhpur and Shanti was nice enough to follow me after I had left, as I had forgotten a charging cable.
Nothing - couldn't have asked for a better stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Little Garden Guest House. It was the perfect blend of comfort, culture, and hospitality. Akshay and his family were exceptional hosts, warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The property is very clean and beautifully maintained, showcasing the charm of traditional haveli architecture.
What really stood out was the personal touch: they even packed us sandwiches and fruits for our early morning flight, which was incredibly kind. If you’re looking for an authentic stay in a heritage hotel to experience local architecture and culture, this is the place. Highly recommend!

- The position is very good, very close to the center, but in a calm street away from the noise and traffic
- Staff was nice and ready to help with any requests
- Breakfast was good with possibility of fresh omelette
- They have a very big terrasse on the roof with a very nice view on the fort but unfortunately it’s empty (no tables, no chairs, no umbrella) so it’s never used
- The stairs to reach the rooms are quite narrow, so it can be a bit difficult with many heavy luggages
- Windows of the rooms have view on the inner court so difficult to keep them open without been seen by other guests

Incredible time at this family run guest house. Especially the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Was our favorite stay over our time in India!! The rooms itself were incredibly beautifully made, everything super clean and perfect location for Udaipur.

Little Garden Guest House is a beautiful place to stay. Furnished with love, care and aesthetic flair, spotless clean and well maintained, a traditional house, family owned in 6th generation. The attentiveness and helpfulness of the entire staff is extraordinary. We loved sitting (or doing Yoga) on the rooftop and the breakfast (european and indian) was super delicious. The guesthouse is fantastically located in the Old Town.
We enjoyed the offer to have dinner here as well as having interesting conversations with the owner Akshay who is a perfect host, committed to make all his guests feel at home. He and his staff gave us good recommendations and helped us with our onward travel. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful property in very convenient location - just steps from the Jagish temple and a very short walk to the City Palace, the main bazaar and the lakeshore. Very personal service form the family who run the hotel. Highly recommended.

Great family run haveli, with great room decor all individual and authentic. Breakfast was good and staff were generous and helpful. Close to sights but away from street noise. We loved our stay.

A beautifully restored building in a great location.
This place exceeded my expectations. My room was large, very clean, beautifully styled, and had good air con and hot water.
The owner, Akshay, made contact before I arrived and ensured that I got to the guest house safely from my bus. He assisted with everything i needed. This is also the family home and the family are friendly, it was nice to see the children and parents each day.
Shanti was super helpful, recommending things to do and arranging a tuk tuk for me. Breakfast was good ?
Definitely recommended.
