Honestly such a stunning place. In a beautiful spot right near Lake Piccola, you can see both of the island buildings from here. Great eateries are about as well. The hostel organises many activities, the sunrise tour being a must do for Udaipur.

Staff were really great, the best part of the stay. They created a very good vibe at the hostel, organized tours and other activities. Very relaxed and laid back vibe. Rooftop has a great view of the sunset and the lakes and people gathered during happy hour for sunset. Very social hostel. Rooms and facilities were also great, and good WiFi.

Location of the hostel and the staff. It has the best Lakeview and one can witness ammmaazzing sunset. The managing team is very friendly.They put extra effort to engage the travellers in some activity or some conversation which is very good for solo travellers. I had planned my stay here for two days but I stayed for a week. This hostel has the best common area. Although almost all the hostels have a common area with indoor games but I found the best quality here. Everything has been very well taken care of and the property is very nicely managed. Definitely recommend this hostel.

Vibe is very lively. Location is just perfect and best to watch sunset from here. Everyone just gathers around in the evening to watch sunset and then to chill, socialise.
Food is exceptionally good. (They will not serve local cuisines but whatever they serve otherwise is good)
It would be great if they would include the cancellation flex.

I would always come back! The place is great and you can feel that every detail in the building is treated with great care and love. Ashish and his team are super friendly, welcoming and helpful with everything. After a few days you will feel like part of the family. Please stay as you are!

Location was brilliant! The staff were the friendliest and most helpful. They had even sent us how to reach the hotel from station and what money will the autos and taxis charge to reach the hotel (so that we dont end up giving away more money). The food was amazing! All egg items on the menu , sizzles and lasagna were absolutely gorgeous ! Our superior room had a good view of the lake with private ensuite bathroom. But no cupboard in the room.
I wish they had an elevator. Udaipur is an uphill-downhill place anyway. And climbing up the stairs and then down again to 3rd floor with heavy luggages is hard enough. Also, if you have an early train it will be very difficult to get an auto. As the auto drivers only arrive at the parking after 7 30am. Taxis cannot enter the area because of how narrow it is.
Other than this, absolutely loved everything else.

My entire Udaipur trip was made extra special by choosing to stay at Mantra.The view is definitely amazing but above that the host and volunteer team are amazing people and make it even more fun. The location is also perfect to enjoy Udaipur famous spots.
I did a few days wfh and there is ample space and area to ensure no disturbance during calls. The cafe serves amazing food and comes with added bonus of perfect Lake pichola sunset views.
Team organizes a lot of activities which were totally worth going especially the sunrise tour. The place is still maintained and the entire staff ensures cleanliness at all times.
The entire team goes above and beyond to make it an epic experience.

One of the best hostels I stayed in so far. The location of the hostel is absolutely great and its by the Lake Pichola . Most of the places are walkable distance hence you can save a lot on Tuk Tuk. The view from the rooftop is really amazing, you get a clear view of the Lake. I absolutely loved the sunsets and star gazing from their rooftop. The Rooms are pretty neat and clean with comfortable beds. The Hosts - Ashish, Vinit, Rutu and Mandeep are absolutely doing a great job. They all are very friendly and always there to help you out. During my stay they made sure I have a great time. They keep activities for the travellers where they can all sit and chill together, for example; Ashish cooked Biryani for all of us which was delicious. They also took us to an exotic location for Sunrise, which was mind boggling. Overall its a 10/10. Will be happy to stay here again and would recommend this place to all travellers. Cheers!

The staff was very friendly ,they have different activities that you can enjoy , if you are solo u must attend these activities

All of the staff were awesome, so friendly, helpful and honestly felt like friends. Extended my stay in the end because the hostel was just so cool. Can't recommend any higher.
Also the sunrise bike rides they offer are an absolute must, make sure you ask the staff about them!
