One of the best places I stopped during my time in India. All the staff were really friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my time here was pleasant. Lovely spacious rooms that were spotlessley clean, efficient air conditioning, and delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated and large room with good bathroom. Nice seating area to enjoy and a super rooftop view of the palace at night. We had a room upgrade which was very welcome. The two sisters and brother that run this place are fantastic hosts, more like good friends. Plenty of sightseeing suggestions, masala chai and conversation. We had continental breakfast here too which was plentiful.
All was just great.

The best accommodation that we stayed in during our trip to the north of India. The family were lovely, they gave recommendations on what to see in Udaipur, cooked an amazing breakfast and always asked if we needed any tea, coffee, water when we got back from our sightseeing. They cooked us dinner our 1st night and I really recommend trying it. The food was very tasty and it was excellent value for money. The entire guest house was incredibly clean and the location was fantastic. I cannot recommend this place enough. If I was ever back in Udaipur I would not stay anywhere else.

Hari Niwas is a beautifully renovated clean character-filled guesthouse. The common areas are beautiful marble, the room was spacious, the bathroom modern and convenient. There was everything we needed. The hosts are absolutely exceptional. They started helping us days before we arrived when our transport was cancelled. Each time we entered and exited they offered us help and food and chats. There were lots of lovely snacks and cups of chai. The breakfast and dinner were delicious healthy indian or continental options. The central location is perfect. I would definitely stay here again. We felt part of this lovely family

The best guest house - everything was perfect! The family was incredibly nice, the room was very clean and the whole house is very beautiful and freshly renovated. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and we could even wish for food that we loved the day before. The house has a rooftop which is very nice as well and everyone was making sure that we had the best time. The host even sat down with us to give us a map of the city and explain what we could do and what she would recommend to see in the time we had there. The location of the guesthouse is great to reach the main attractions by foot and you have everything you need in walking distance. It really was just perfect, we recommended it to our friends and if we ever are in Udaipur again we will definitely be back at this guesthouse! Thank you so much for having us as your guests and for the wonderful time we had at your guest house!

The rooms were clean. The ordinary rooms we booked were a little small, with low ceilings. The Super Deluxe rooms were decent. The bathrooms in every room were well-designed, except the ground floor ones had no exhaust-fan in the bathroom. The property owners run the business. They were extremely cordial and cooperative and eager to please us. The rooms came with breakfast and we had a variety of Indian/Rajasthani and traditional english breakfasts - all very good. There is a very good view from the rooftop, but it is a walkup to the fourth floor.
We could not go all the way to the hotel in our car - it is a narrow street, with lots of shops, and entry is limited to certain times. There is no elevator, so we had to walk up to our second and third floor rooms. However, the hotel staff carried our baggage. The hotel couldn't provide us dinner and there was no really decent restaurant within walking distance for our aged group.

Super clean Homestay. Bedding was sparkling white and duvet had white slip cover (if you’ve spent time in India home stays, this is not the majority). Felt very homey. We spent 4 nights here and although I wasn’t feeling my best during the time, the family could not have been more kind. She directed me to the nearest pharmacy, offered to give me a ride to the doctor or hospital and cooked me some bland comfort food for my ailing stomache.

The guest house was comfortable, extremely clean and the staff were excellent. The breakfast is delicious and homemade.
Even though the streets of Udaipur are chaotic and noisy, the guesthouse was a peaceful haven.

We had a great time at Hari Niwas. The location is very central to the tourist spots and local shops. We could walk everywhere and didn’t need a car to drive us around.
The family who ran the place took great care of us with home style breakfast to tea and coffee whenever we wished for. We would definitely love to stay there again in our future trips to the city.

We loved our stay here. The hosts are the best. Really friendly and helpful. Like staying with family. Great breakfast and always great to return home to the hotel to be greeted with lovely Masala Chai and smiling faces. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooms are lovely and clean. We would stay here again anytime.

It's just the perfect guest house. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and provided lots of great information and suggestions. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievably awesome and freshly cooked for each guest. The location is close to the main attractions, and early in the morning there were cute cows on the street outside. The guest house is in a gorgeous old building that was restored and modernized by the hosts and is decorated beautifully. If I go back to Udaipur I will definitely stay here again.
