Fantastic lakeside location - it was lovely to spend the night looking at the city from the opposite side we had stayed on previously.
Restaurant not all it’s cracked up to be. The hotel staff was a little haughty and the property needs some major upkeep.

This is a beautiful hotel I what is likely the nicest location in the city. The restaurant is exceptional as is the service. Cannot find anything to fault with this property whatsoever.

The rooms, staff, property, food and location were outstanding. It is walking distance to city palace and is in the middle of the old city, right next to the lake with beautiful views. Would highly reccommend!

Great location. Room air conditioning was good. Great food at the restaurant
The bed was hard and we felt like the 2 thin sheets provided for covers were not sufficient.
WiFi did not work most of the time.
Check out was not handled well. I arranged a 5:30 am check out the day before but the person at the front desk seemed unprepared. Worse, though, was the fact that we thought our airport drop was taken care of on our room charges, then to find out from the driver at the airport that the driver that the ride was not payed for. We had no Rupees so we gave him a $20 note

Beautiful buildings in a stunning location. Great service, lovely staff. Wonderful restaurant with a view you never tire of. And a swimming pool to offer respite from those 40 degree days.

Very good location, beautiful old heritage style, fantastic large rooms, great restaurant for dinner, great service from all staff, had a Tuk tuk that could take you to the gates outside of the old area if needed
Breakfast was outdoors which was fine but food left out so flies etc landing. Room was not cleaned daily, WiFi was variable. It was not clear but we could not drive to the hotel and park there

Location of the hotel is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable..... the view from the Ambrae restaurant is amazing.
The room service wasn't good....telephone wasn't working properly...and even after repeated calling we didn't get proper response.

This property is stunning. Everything about it is beautiful! The staff, the rooms, the service. Each day I was welcomed by name into the restaurant. The view from the room is incredible and the grounds and location are excellent.

Lovely haveli but, Room was a superior room. Blinds in the bathroom are tired and need replacing. Swimming pool was dirty. They obviously don't have a filter system for this. Was green and constantly had debris floating in the top. I definitely wouldn't put my head under. Breakfast was ok. It really needs to be in the chilled glass out building. Fruit isn't chilled. The juice choice is limited. Freeze dried coffee ?. Cheese wasn't chilled or covered. Could do a lot better.
The restaurant in the evening is very expensive for what it is. Go out and have a better experience with better quality food and service away from the hotel. Alcohol is very expensive. Over all you can find a home stay with a better maintained pool in the area for a lot cheaper. We spent £380 for 5 nights. We chose this place
As it looked like a luxury establishment. I wish I had stayed in the place we had stayed a few weeks previously for the same amount of time (with a pool) for £130.
