Situated in between Trichy airport and city. Less crowded and best location to avoid last minute traffic jam. The rooms and air-conditioning are very good.
I'm little disappointed with the receptionist. Initially, I booked 5 rooms for 1 day stay via booking.com. Unfortunately, our flight back falls on midnight, so we extend another day in advance before reaching Trichy via tele conversation so that we could take some rest and shower before heads up to airport to catch flight back. During my check in on the 1st day, I was informed that they will give us extra bed because it was included in my booking even though I said we don't need it. But they insist me. The next day literally we didn't stay at the hotel because we was spending our day at Srirangam temple and for shopping. Happened that during our check out, the receptionist charged me for the 2nd day on additional extra bed that they put without informing us about the charges earlier on the 1st day. Totally unacceptable and I feel like the guy had scam on me. Please have some courtesy to inform the guest about any charges so they don't feel cheated. Last but not least, the room lightings a bit dull and the breakfast is very simple.

Bedsheets were dirty obviously not washed from someone's last stay. But left there for the next customer hoping it won't be obvious. Meals at Kannapa were bad and won't come back. At one time the vege mushroom briyani had mutton bones in it and the waiter claimed that the order didn't specify pure veg. Hotel staff were expecting money at every point like they weren't paid sufficiently by the hotel. Gestures and strong reactions asking for money is stressful and unwelcomed for the guest and family. I'm sure the hotel imposes service tax to guest but staff are acting in this manner in a way indirectly demanding for money. I was told by my sister one hotel staff was meddling with the suitcase lock and was trying to open it thinking no one was looking at that time but immediately gave excuses when caught doing it. Staff shouldnt be acting in this manner when it relates to guest properties. The taps in the room were faulty rusty and not maintained. Would never recommend kanappa restaurant and the hotel to anyone due to the above reasons. It's not worth for the money and the food quality was horrible.
