We liked the proximity to the Train station at Trichy. We had to catch a train at 7.00 AM, the staff had packed a box of cut fruits and made some sandwiches for our travel, which was extremely kind of them and helpful to us.

Wonderful
The rooms were spacious, and the lobby and the entire area was spacious (old-school), not cramped like the modern business hotels. This was an iconic hotel from the 1990s, and still exudes the charm. We got a 4th floor room with rockfort view. The whole area is less crowded, since the bus interchange has moved out of town. We had a connecting train which was just 700 metres away. We got 2 rooms opposite each other, so it was easy. Breakfast was south indian, and was very fresh.

Very well maintained.
Bath room granite polished slippery. I am a 84 year old occupant with fear had to bathe. Due to soap water slippery granite polished floor with NO hand rails or any sort of grip holding facility. Had fear of slipping causing bone/ hip fractures.
