Our host was super helpful in every way. Very knowledgeable about the area and its activities. Always flexible to help even when it was our own self directed activity. The back of the hotel abuts the Tiger Reserve. Beautiful views. Great restaurant right across the street. Rooms are spacious and clean. This is a 10 for me!

The stay was very comfortable. The view was great and the location is perfect as the national park is easily accessible along with easy access to the town and restaurants. The host was very polite and accommodating with useful tips and advise. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We have stayed in 12 accomadations since November here in Kerala,Goa and Sri Lanka.
Many others in previous years.
Kerala House is by far our favourite.
The husband and wife that run it go way above what would be expected of hosts.
The terrace room we had was magical for sitting back and letting the wildlife come to you.
We're in Munnar now and looking to head back to Kerala house very soon.
There was nothing to dislike.

The owner was very friendly and very helpful and we even spotted Indian Gaur from the balcony at night with a torch light.
The property is easily accessible from the road and their are numerous shops and resturant near by.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Shibu and his family are wonderful hosts. The guesthouse they have here is blessed with incredible views where you can watch an assortment of wild animals come and go in the mornings and the afternoon. Shibu himself helped us with organising a jungle hike and also advice on onward travel. A really fantastic place to stay.

We were so delighted with our experience at the Kerala House Homestay. Mr. Shibu was so generous and helpful: he brought us a full breakfast at 6am for our early morning hike, and he booked us same-day kathikali and martial arts show tickets. The room was quite nice and the view of the reserve was amazing. We saw many birds and a handful of deer. Also, the location was quite convenient; the park entrance and the kathakali theater were very walkable. Thank you so much to Mr. Shibu and his staff!

what a beautiful, large and sparkling clean room. Shibu and his wife do a great job, are friendly, attentive and helpful with all concerns. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a great view to the greenery of the national park. Is really recommended.
Everything is in walking distance and some restaurants are close to the Hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay here, great location, value for money, big comfortable room, kind and helpful hosts and excellent views from the balcony onto the reserve. Don't be surprised to see Indian gaur, wild boar, mongoose, etc during the afternoon /evenings and mornings.
Owner, Shibu was very helpful and will gladly help you organise activities if required. Lovely breakfasts also for a very modest cost.

Super noce staff and service, there is no better location (backyard facing the jungle but still 10 minutes walk from town center), appartment extremely clean: best value for money possible!!

Fabulous host, extremely helpful and kind. Great view over the park - we saw Gaur, deer and boar from our balcony. Good location, near to national park and restaurants. Huge, clean room.

Great location - overlooking the reserve, wildlife watching from the balcony. Very clean and spacious. The owners were particularly kind and helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent.

2nd time here. Location is ideal for many activities. Staff friendly. Breakfast ok, not much variation, nice balcony.
Room needs uplift. Could hear neighbours talking. Shower n toilwt with minimum facilities, just ok. Monkeys all over and outside dirt too, which atracts all kind of animals

The stay at Kerala House was really good! The Location ist directly at the Wildlife Reservate and you can See some animals from Out of the Windows or the balcony! Also ist the room a really spacious one anf Shibu a very helpful and friendly Host!
