Disappointing
The location in the middle of the kumily city
Staff were very friendly and trying to help
Old, outdated, bad maintenance, could not use the public pool since water was cold. Poor gym, only 4 training machines all of them are brocken.
Breakfast was only Indian food. No western food. Even the toaster was not functioning

Location staff was good welcoming friendly
Jacuzzi was cold cannot say it’s a jacuzzi. It’s takes 24 hours to heat up one day before as per the staff . Food was delayed for one to two hours for lunch . There was some confusion with the orders . We had to upgrade the room because it’s not up to the expectations. The jacuzzi and pool was cold . Even the main swimming pool did not have water regulator. To. Have medium temperature. We upgraded to presidential room but also was very hot the water . Either very cold or very hot not for children. Hopefully next time the pool will have medium temperature so all people can enjoy. Food standards also needs to be upgraded as 5 star with timings of drinks very late and not served on time.

It was our anniversary and the staff made our celebration so special.
The room is big and beautiful.
The hotel provides many interesting activities including afternoon tea with free Indian snacks.

Breakfast was good. Lot of decent options. Would have liked the ability to order different kinds of dosas as part of breakfast.
Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Rooms were very clean and neat. Staff were able to allocate 3 rooms close to each other as requested.
The resort and rooms feel part of nature as evident from the resort location and design.
The kids adventure rope course was a hit with our kids. The rope course person was very helpful with the kids. The kids also had fun playing in the pool.
Our family of 6 had dinner at the resort and it was excellent. Food was delicious. Overall a wonderful stay!
The rooms need updating as they feel a bit dated. The TVs in the room were very small. TV guide listing the English/Hindi channels would be helpful.

I'm absolutely loving Greenwood resort in thekkady!
Premium Suite, and Pool Honeymoon Villa, both offer a unique and luxurious experience. And, restaurant on site, we enjoy delicious meals without having to leave the resort. They offer amazing facility including swimming pool, zipline, treetop activity, kids activities. Staff was amazing. Welcome tea is delicious.
Overall, I think Greenwood Resort in Thekkady is an amazing choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and adventurous getaway in nature.

Greenwoods Resort is fine re location, clean, good facilities, food and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
Pool although we did not use looks great and very well maintained. The resort while practical, green and pleasant lacks a sense of being in Thekkady, which is Hustle and Bussell. Somewhat soulless was our feeling. Particularly in that we had travelled from Munnar which we found so nice. So for our 1 night stay perhaps not the best choice and a little expensive for what you get
We did not like the aggressive and persistent messaging prior to arriving on pre payment or payment of the room prior to arriving. We were already in India and Chennai and found it both annoying to be consistently messaged on requiring payment of the room prior to arriving. Not easy in arranging bank transfers from a UK bank while already travelling with limited access to wi-fi. In the end our hosts in Chennai had to phone them to confirmed our arrival (we had consistently assumed them via messaging that we would be arriving to secure the room) and that we would pay on arrival. I find this unacceptable given the contract arrangement is via Booking.com and that if payment is required prior to arrival then that should be the financial contracted arrangement between Booking and Greenwoods Resort. Particularly in confirming the booking can only be done with the security of a credit card with Booking.com. Additionally that rather aggressive and persistent attitude continued after we left with could we leave a review! So this is it. Not the place for everyone!

Greenwoods Resort, is probably my best stay in Kerala. Right from the time we checked in till the time we checked out, we felt we were at home. Each and every staff, especially Mr. Ayub, is excellent in his job. He always made us feel on priority. One cannot imagine how different it could get inside and outside the resort. Outside is a busy city with crowd, shops, traffic and inside is a peaceful valley with wonderful smiles on their faces.
If I ever come back to Kerala, I will definitely come to Thekkady and I will ONLY stay in Greenwoods Resort.
Nothing honestly, we could not find any flaw in the resort. Every part of the property is wonderfully built, every staff is warm and helpful.
