Excellent property in the heart of Shimla. Close to major attractions with complimentary shuttle service to go to Mall road. Amazing food at the restaurant with lots of choices at the breakfast buffet. Tried Himachal Thali which was delicious and flavourful. What made the entire experience memorable was the exceptional courtesy and service of the hotel staff. Very much enjoyed the entire experience. Hotel’s executive chef Rajiv Bhardwaj and their team went out of the way to make us welcome and comfortable.
No fitness facility however given the amount of walking and stairs climbing in the city didn’t feel the need

The property is amazing, Tamanna was very courteous & tries to accommodate major of our requests. Restaurant has amazing and food was delicious. Every staff member is so courteous & do their best to make you at ease. Aditya also helped accommodate our shuttle requests last minute.

My stay at Radisson Jass Shimla, though just for one night, was an experience I’ll always cherish. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine warmth and kindness. The entire staff, especially at the front desk, were extremely courteous and down-to-earth. It was heartening to know that most of them are local Pahadis—people native to Shimla—who bring a special charm and humility to their service.
After two sleepless nights traveling from Bangalore, carrying my 8-year-old due to limited connectivity, I was exhausted. Mr. Rakesh at the front desk went out of his way to arrange an early check-in, ensuring my daughter and I could rest. That thoughtful gesture made all the difference and showed true hospitality.
The breakfast spread was generous, and the in-room dining service was both fast and delicious. The hotel also provides a free shuttle to nearby attractions, which added great convenience to our short stay.
Everything about the experience—from the service to the people—was simply perfect. Radisson Jass Shimla is a shining example of hospitality done right. I truly hope they continue this level of service. People will not only love the hotel but also the warm-hearted Pahadi spirit behind it.

Great location. Bedroom faced the valleys which was amazing to wake up to. Staff very helpful. There’s a free short shuttle bus that takes you to the end of the road where you take the steps up to Mall road. Spa facilities were great also. My only criticism is that the pool needs to be better maintained. The tiles could with a good scrub and clean. The water, needs a regular netting of leaves and bugs. Due to this i didn’t fancy a chill session in the pool.

It's a good property, staff is very welcoming and room has a good valley view. Good breakfast and a shuttle facility to go to the mall road. Special mention Aradhana and Rakesh, they were very courteous and helpful.
Food prices are really steep.

Disappointments - one really needs to know even before booking, in which block you are booking, the bookings in A block which are not suits but rooms, are extremely disappointing for the money you pay, we paid almost 23000 per night, and we had expectations of service to that level. Having experienced the excellence in hospitality of taj from mumbai. Dehli, Udaipur and such for comparable cost, the service received here was clearly gave us a feeling of ‘loss of money’. Particularly those who are elderly, or need ease of movement for one place to another in a hotel, these rooms aren’t meant for them. Plus it’s really not possible to know about these hurdles from online portals, the staff isn’t courteous enough to give all details.
The day we reached the complete road to hotel was blocked, we couldn’t go out for any sight seeing, considering only two days we had we lost one half day just being at hotel where there was major restrictions on movement due to various levels and lack of lifts ( my husband needs assistance for climbing up and down)
The temperature of the room can be adjusted only till 19 degree, again for someone who is used to 24 degrees and not below, it was not possible to adjust temperature and we were told that either we switch the ac off ( with no ventilation ) and only then they may provide heater ( if we keep ac off) what kind of science and engineering is this ? We don’t mind not having ac if there is a scope for ventilation
