Mr. and Mrs. Anup were truly exceptional hosts, providing one of the best hospitality experiences my family and I have ever had—from the moment we arrived in Pondicherry until the day we left. Their property was spotless, well-maintained, and supported by a team of friendly, service-oriented staff who made us feel right at home. What stood out most was the personal touch they added to everything, making our stay feel warm, thoughtful, and memorable. Also the location is in the heart of the city and is walkable distance to most of the attractions including the Rock Beach and Aurobindo Ashram, Museum, etc. overall we had a great stay at Mel Ville.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Mel Ville Serviced Apartments – Ivory House (Ground Floor) – and it truly felt like a home away from home! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by Mr. Anup, our wonderful host. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even surprising us with thoughtful gestures that we've never experienced before. It made our stay feel extra special! The apartment was spacious, clean, and luxurious – perfect for a family of four. Two comfortable bedrooms Air conditioning in every room, including the living room A well-equipped kitchen, neat bathrooms, and all the amenities you’d need for a relaxing stay Everything was designed with comfort in mind – we loved the attention to detail and how peaceful the entire experience was. I am a repeat visitor to Mel ville. Stayed there 8 years back with family. Although time had passed but no change in the hospitality. It’s still same rather I will say more than before. Resident host Anup and Mehak are awesome and are always there to help you with anything and anytime. They go beyond the routine to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Location of the property is perfect with mission street (one of the happening street in Pondicherry) within walking distance. Also, promenade is just 600 mtr away from the property.

Mel Ville was an absolute delight! From the moment we booked, everything was seamless—Anup and Mehak ensured smooth communication and even arranged a last-minute cab from Chennai airport. Their thoughtful hospitality, including a welcome breakfast and complimentary lunch, made our stay extra special. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and White Town. Our room was exactly as shown in the pictures—bright, airy, and comfortable. We also loved unwinding on the common terrace with its refreshing breeze. What truly sets Mel Ville apart is the warmth of the hosts. Having stayed in homestays at other locations, we can confidently say Anup and Mehak are exceptional. Highly recommended for a wonderful stay in Pondicherry!

The property is very close to the French town and the beachside…All the major attractions are easily accessible. Good location; the accommodation is very comfortable and best suited for a couple. It’s clean, well organised and exudes positive vibes.

Anup and Mahek are the best hosts one can have. Even before we left home he was communicating with us and providing useful info. He helped us plan our trip. He made every effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Mehak, is very sweet. The room we stayed in was comfortable. The property is on the border of the white town and is close to everything.

The apartment was very beautifully decorated and clean. There was cleaning done promptly and the staff was very nice. The hosts were the best we have had! They were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel at home including making home-cooked food for us when we were sick, providing medicines and helping us with arranging auto/cab for travel. The location is quite convenient ( just 10 mins walk to the promenade beach). The terrace is beautiful and I enjoyed reading a book there watching the birds in the nearby trees. When in Pondicherry, you would have to stay here! I am looking forward for my best visit to Pondicherry with them.

I felt so safe and welcomed by these lovely people Anup and Mehak, they were so warm and generous with their time and sharing about Pondicherry. We loved the personal attention given by Anup and Mehak. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We were there during Christmas and they shared a cake and other goodies with us. Really sweet hosts. They were available anytime in case we needed something. They also suggested where we could go and explore Pondicherry and helped us with a great contact for two wheeler hiring. They made our trip easy and fun.

we had booked the place to celebrate our anniversary and I am glad that I booked Mel Ville. The place is near to rock beach and french colony and night life in this area is a bliss. The breakfast which Mehak mam served was amazing specially the Dal Pakwaan, Parathas, Omelette, Bhel, Masala Chai, Garlic buns and Hot Chocolate during our 3 day stay were so fulling that we had to skip our lunch on all those days. The place is located in a calm area and they have maintained the property to an amazing level. I did not believe when Anup sir said that it's a 11 years old property it looked as if it was build just 11 days ago. The room has a kitchen with all cutlery you need including an oven, induction and kettle. They also have a fridge enough to store a weeks supply and energy drinks. They also have a private wifi connection for each room and they also have a work table in each room so that one can do work from their place while enjoying a chilled drink with some of their yummy breakfast. Overall it was an amazing stay and I would recommend everyone to go there without a second thought. they also provide parking facilities and the place can easily take 2, 4 wheelers and 5, 2 wheelers without any issues. they also have option to get you a rented bike if needed and it was the best thing I enjoyed without worrying about anything. the place is hardly 4-5 kms from railway station and you can take an ola to reach for the first time. Nearby you will have imported liquor shops, ice cream shops and medical shops if things go south.

Our stay at Mel Ville exceeded all our expectations. The location is great - a quiet side road and easy walking distance to all the main sights.The apartment was so lovely - immaculately clean and very comfortable and there is a nice terrace on top too. What made our stay so special was the warm hospitality of both Anup and Mehak. From the moment we arrived they made us feel so welcome - serving us the most delicious lunch in their home - we were blown away ?. We enjoyed several home cooked meals (breakfast and lunch) prepared by Mehak during our stay and it was by far the best food we ate during our visit to Pondicherry. They were so helpful - giving us plenty of tips and recommendations, all of which were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated all the little unexpected extra touches and kindness they extended to us. We are travelling around South India and have no doubt that our stay at Mel Ville will be one of the key highlights - a very special memory. Thank you so much ❤️??

It’s right in the middle of Pondicherry and still hidden behind the busy road which gives a very peaceful atmosphere! Besides this, the other key call-out are the awesome hosts Mehak and Anup who are super genuine in terms of their care and proactive support even before we arrived as well as throughout the stay.
