Location: Panchgani, is still not too crowded like Mahabaleshwar. Location wise, the hotel/inn is in the inners, away from the hustle and bustle of the Panchgani Market place. Quiet and peaceful. Those who want to rewind and like calmness, this is the ideal place. Travel: Advised to take your own vehicle. Also, Uber-Ola ply on these route. However, for local sightseeings, travel to the market one would need a vehicle. On foot to the Market takes approx 30-35 minutes. The terrain is winding and narrow. The Hotel staff/reception is courteous enough to book a cab for your travel on your request. If you dont have a vehicle, you can request at the reception for a 2-4 hours cab travel. We booked a taxi to the market and return for a couple of hours. Staff: The staff is very courteou, warm and welcoming. Right from the house keeping person(s) to the Manager all were helpful and also available to assist us. If you need any information in and around Panchgani, they are happy to provide that to you. Thank you to the entire staff (especially the manager) for making the stay comfortable. Rooms and Service: Rooms at Maitri Retreat are well maintained, spacious and clean. On your request, they would also come to clean the room and also provide basic essentials in the rooms. We booked two adjoining rooms facing the street and opposit to a Strawberry farm. The view early in the morning is amazing of the Sun rise and the misty air is bliss. We checked a few other rooms - there are rooms facing the swimming pool, it's just that view of the swimming pool. There are other rooms on the lower floor, but the ones at the top have the advantage of views and also ample of sun rays into the rooms. There is a swimming pool for those who want to take a dive or enjoy swimming. Service: Very hospitable and warm service. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Its exceptionally good to stay here. Check-in was super smooth. They are very accomodative and I am satisfied with during my stay there. They provoded a box of Strawberry during check out. Room was too good with all the facilities as described in the property. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a calm and quiet with all the modern aminities.

Overall this hotel was very good for overall food, room, toilet, bathroom.

We did not avail of the breakfast. The location was great surrounded by Strawberry farms. The pool is awesome.
