It is a beautifully restored colonial cottage with wonderfully manicured gardens. Felt like an oasis of calm amidst the hustle of Ooty town yet being walkable public transportation & shops. We enjoyed the rustic experience.
Deepak & his staff are very welcoming to make you feel right at home. They proactively ask your preference on throughout the day on the little things to make your stay that much more special.
There was plenty of variety in the food & such good quality that we didnt feel like having food else where if we were in the property.
Some furniture and fixtures in the rooms like lamps & chairs are showing their age. They could be use some restoration

Amazing view, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff.
However the area is having extremely cold. Hence all room should have heater including package. And some activities should be there as complementary.

In house food not upto mark. They wont accept credit card.. Booking. Com room price and on-site room price did not matchlatter was higher. So had to talk about it to get the online price

The property is well maintained though its a 160 yrs old. The garden landscape is mesmerising with beautiful flowers of different varieties. The staff were very helpful and responsive to making our stay comfortable.
The breakfast could have been a better.

Staying at Lymond House was quite an experience. It's a colonial bungalow furnished as it would have been at the time it was built. It's very atmospheric and takes you back to days gone by. The garden is beautiful with different areas for sitting.

Amazing location, Homely feel, Nice staff and very quiet and peaceful place
The room that we got was a very average room but because of the overall beauty of the place, it goes unnoticed. Food was also average in taste but good in quality and quantity.

Food was excellent. Staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. Trek with Thordey arranged by hotel was exceptionally good.
Bedroom and bathroom were very poor (Westbury) and it was not the deluxe room shown on the website. The bed was the bed shown on the website in the budget room - very uncomfortable.

Staffs - Philip and Narendra were very helpful and taken good care of us during the stay.
Even though we booked double delux room, it was not up to mark and wooden floors of the room were noisy. Bed was not wooden and was uncomfortable. Room was too dark and very less ventilation apart from one window which you can't keep open always in chilled weather. There was no scope of sunshine to come in the room. Credit card swiping machine was not working for them and they told me to goto atm and withdraw 15,000 as cash amount. Later after too much request, they agreed to take payment via Google Pay. Sofa and other items kept in room didn't look clean and seems like they were very old.
