Excellent location (the best in Ooty), Polite staff.
The restaurant was crowded and doesn't serve food/tea & coffee all the time. There were no other restaurants within walking distance.

Room and location were good
Food was not good. They should improve that . Already we are paying high but they charge extra for a heater which should be provided in each room by them as it's a cold place. Kettles were not clean as well.

Not taken breakfast from the hotel
There is a confusion on checking-in time. Some where it says 1.00 PM and other side 12.00 noon. When we reached the hotel after 12.00 noon, we still had to wait for some more time as the rooms were not ready.

I loved the 'old style' rooms, full of character, don't know why people keep knocking them. Food was excellent, always fresh and well cooked. Gardens beautiful, the topiary was world class!
The other guests were always moaning about something, seems a national pastime. Tigers in the forest were a bit scary, don't walk off too far.
