Beautiful and well maintained property. Rooms and bathroom were very clean. Attention to detail, lockers under beds are well placed. Room and bathroom area are spacious. Very comfortable.
I wish I could have stayed longer. Only booked the room for day use as I had a flight that night but would have loved to stay longer.

Decent clean room with hot water shower. The rooftop was gorgeous. Decent omelette/bread/chai breakfast as added payment. Staff were lovely and gave some good recommendations for places to eat. Great advice on scams etc from the hostel before arriving into Delhi. Good distance from the metro only 10mins which was easy to use. Decent local neighbourhood, quieter than the main areas of Delhi.
As our deluxe room was on the top and had a window that was just slats it was very noisy with noises from outside in the alley/neighbourhood, lots of dogs barking. Nots lots of places in walking around to get cheap local food and would be good if the hostel offered food at other times of the day.

Only stayed there less than 12h but within 20min from airport, easy to find and staff very helpful. Glad we went with this option as many accommodations near the airport within that price range have awful reviews and some are scams. Room was spacious and clean, nice smell and two fans both working well and not very loud. Also had AC but we didnt need it so cant review it. Internet working well. Theres a local market nearby. They have drinking water for free, can ask for iron and rooftop quite nice and relaxing after a long day.
I woke up with a bite on my abdomen, not sure what it was but didnt feel like a mosquito bite. Has gone away since. Lift didnt work, not sure why, so had a bit of lifting to do to get our luggage to 4th floor.

watched india pakistan worldcup match in the common area with staff and guests.
The dorm. there is no ventilation, no sunlight. Accoustics are aweful. The attached washrooms are too loud, you can literally hear guests washing clothes at 1am, showering as if they are doing it next to you. I was there for one night, had to get up early the next morning, couldnt sleep at all.

I stayed at JHouse for 6 nights (two in a single room and 4 in a dormitory) and had a great stay. Very helpful and nice staff, cozy rooftop with shade, comfortable beds, dormitory with three bathrooms, good location in the somewhat quieter south of the city, great atmosphere and many nice acquaintances made my stay in Delhi very special. Thank you dear JHouse team!

Overall my stay at JHouse was okay. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were accomodating to requests and quick in their communication. The hallways are nicely decorated and the entrance feels safe with a locked door and security camera's. The location is okay. Close to the airport (20 min by taxi) and there was a local evening market with street food and fruits. There is also a small supermarket next door. Relatively close to Hauz Khas but a bit further from downtown. The private double room has A/C and a fan. Some water was provided and the room was a good size.
Overall I found it a bit pricey for what you get (other places I stayed at in India for similar prices offered much more). The bathroom was a bit weathered, no toiletries were provided and the towels looked old. I also didn't like the bed sheets very much (thick and lumpy).

The rooms are a little warm, sadly one Aircon unit in such a large room is not quite enough. Some natural light in the room might be nice for the day

The property is very well maintained and the cleaning stuff is carefully making sure to keep everything clean. It is located in a small village in the middle of Delhi, which I needed to get used to at beginning as it was my first time in India. But generally it is very well located and a good place to start exploring the city from. Also the staff was very helpful even though I checked in at 5am and helped me out with booking trains, planning my itinerary etc. (cheers Ujjwal )
The beds dont have curtains which is fine for a short stay, for longer stays Id prefer to have curtains to have at least a bit of privacy.

Everything!! The dorm was super clean and cosy with clean and fully functional bathrooms inside. The common areas near reception and on the rooftop were awesome places to chill out and chat with other travellers and / or staff at the hostel. The rooftop was such a vibe with beautiful plants, comfy seats and incredible sunsets every evening. Breakfast each morning was so delicious and ALL staff were so so lovely and always went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and enjoying your stay. The cleaners also fantastic and super thorough as the whole place was always super clean. I also liked how secure and safe it was - you need to be buzzed in and out of the building. The location was about 40mins away from Old Delhi / The Red Fort which was great because the residential area around the hostel was super chill and relaxed after a crazy day out in the hustle and bustle of it all. Ill be back next time Im in Delhi!
